Reindeer is more in lapland and its cheaper in there, but across finland deer is replacing reindeer, but unfortunately deer can be expensive/hard to get :(

Yes its not actually the staple meat of Finland like Gordon says here, unfortunately reindeer meat is expensive in south Finland where majority population lives because transporting it from Lapland increases price. So, we rarely eat reindeer in south Finland.

Split stick salmon tipped over a open fire, Like the Makah Tribe of Neah Bay Wa. The farthest Northwest you can get inside of continental US. Lots of excellent fish in that Neah Bay area, and they can cook it better than you/us.

Your very wrong w that lol. Reindeers live in Finland outside of Sápmi too, u will find reindeer meat in many places in Finland, even in the south. It isnt only a sámi food
