This episode was all about whether Laurel decides to have dinner with Carl whilst watching Liverpool vs Chelsea or find out the truth with Ashley when she find that she is not Daniel's mother which then goes to Greg and Mel, Laurel makes a sacrifice for love as Carl promises to serve up a romantic meal for two. Laurel goes to great lengths to impress Carl. When he cooks her seafood for dinner, she can't bring herself to admit that she is allergic to it. After an unfortunate reaction to the dish, she is forced to make a sharp exit and hurry home. Carl is struggling to find the remote and Laurel offers to lend a hand by listening to a live radio with the match on. To say ‘thank you’ Carl says he will cook her dinner. Laurel's face drops when she learns she will be eating a fish pie, which will contain prawns. Not wanting to hurt Carl's feelings she does her best to eat the dreaded pie, but it's obvious she has a problem with prawns. As soon as the meal's over she makes her excuses and leaves as quickly as she can leaving Carl wondering what he's done wrong. Broadcast on ITV1 on Tuesday 22nd April 2008 from 7.00pm and finished at 7.30pm before UEFA Champions League Semi-Final Live: Liverpool vs Chelsea
