But I understood every word he spoke ( and it actually appeared that like a old Bollywood movie with character actor like Pran ) As I understood every word I thought it’s Hindi . In that case Urdu and Hindi are the same or very similar .

It's a mixture of so many languages like Persian Arabic Hindi and more .. while Hindi has its roots in sansikrat .. thousands of years old testaments' language .. What he said about Srikant is absolutely true. Srikant was most fearless batsman playing without helmet against the likes of Garner, Imran Khan. Those who have not seen the prime of Srikant when Srikant used to play, the whole city used to come to a standstill. He first invented lashing out in first 15 overs and Jayasurya followed it later on. Sehwag was modern version of Srikant.
