Righteous indignation is a poor substitute for argument. Couple that with the obvious wounded state of many of the members and its easy to understand why the government sought to prorogue.

The sound on this video is distorted. At the end of sentences the audio seems to fade out. It's very annoying.

Labour was in a difficult situation, though. Brexit was a career killer, if Labour had gone with the government on their trade deal, it would of meant job losses, business's closing down, growth slowing down because trade would of been slowed or halted (due to freedom of movement being repealed), it would of meant our economy shrinking down, it has also weakened our union to the point where Scotland's position on another ref is stronger, Northern Irelands position for reunifying with the republic is stronger than ever before. In my view it didn't matter what Labour did, no one would've been happy either way. Look at what Brexit has already done to our economy (don't start talking about covid because covid isn't the only factor of our economy shrinking down), it has made a lot of brexiteers regret their decision as their business's are struggling and they are finding it a lot more expensive as well, some business's have halted their sales altogether, our exports have dropped by 19.3% and our imports have dropped by 21.6% just from brexit alone. All these Brexiteers lied to you and everyone else, some of us saw through it, most of us were fooled. All this rhetoric about voters knowing what they are voting for is a lie, peoples stances change all the time, the government became the experts while the economists and other expects became unqualified somehow by angry people who cant accept that they didn't have a clue what they were voting for. Its funny to see these people get owned on radio shows and on TV, I always see that they cant name one policy or one law that they disagree with, or the fact that they repeat what people like Farage say. COVID was like the golden ticket from Charlie and the Chocolate factory, because the government can just blame all of this on COVID, even though Brexit has had a big part in this as well.

The Conservatives get embarrassed yet again on vaccines. I once was a Conservative voter, up until last year, but am disgusted by the party now because of many of their self serving Covid members, shameful.

I play this now and again to enjoy Geoffrey Cox batting away. Great fun and even improved with the knowledge of how many MPs bit the dust at the election. Got bored I put this on again April 2021. Great to see Cox bat them away. 👍

Public intelligibility Mr speaker.... defined as “Intelligibility is a measure of how comprehendible speech is, or the degree to which speech can be understood. Intelligibility is affected by spoken clarity, explicitness, lucidity, comprehensibility, perspicuity, and precision”... can you tell the British public who clearly voted democratically leave the EU why the MP’s in your Parliament (as it clearly isn’t the British public’s Parliament) aren’t being told to shut up and put up with the U.K. voters decision rather than sidelining everything... sorry I thought The Speakers role was to be impartial.... clearly you have decided that it means otherwise. Stop the one-up-man-ship in the bullshit that is political fancy and get on with the job! That is what is going to give the U.K. the consistency and stability it needs to move on. The U.K. survived without the EU prior to ‘being in’ and the auK will continue long after ‘we leave’ it’s no different to any other divorce.
