yeah this has been my first wipe and I'm the same. Really didn't understand the game at all to begin with. Did a couple of duo and trios with a mate who's played since day one, and mainly solo it now. Knowing how to complete quests made a big diff to me, and just not worrying so much about losing my loot helped. Still die heaps, but generally feel less worried about it.

In situations like these, the scavs one shot me, the groups always turn and kill me in seconds, even if I kill one and duck behind cover, they somehow always find me. Having loot and limping out and being spotted by a scav is pretty much death unless I drop them in seconds. You made some amazing plays but you have luck that I seem to lack. Nice video, not giving up yet lol

If you zigzag run/dont run perfectlydirectly with yoru back away from any scavs they won't hit you 95% of the time, except for rogues and scav bosses. I do this all the time and it works liek a charm, it's not luck based. Also peopel always finding you is not luck based either. It all depends on how well you know the map. Rethink the situations this happened to you in. If you give away your position with fire, or get fired at and then try to hide in cover whiel still in audio range, and they know pretty well where oyu are, trying to think as if oyu were that enemy, how fucking ultra obvious was it that oyu were where you were? Nd you gotta be honest abou these to yoruself to improve play. Like there is so many times I on an (semi+) open map shoot at somebody, they behave very skittishly and go for cover, and me having a good position can pretty clearly know where they are even if I don't see them, and instead of chasing most times I just try go get either a new angle, or just manipulate my field of view in relation to his position in a way that they can't get away without me seeing or knowing. So many fucking times I semi-hide and these skittish players peek once, run 40m, feel safe and hide in a bush and start healing and I watched them lay down and crawl into that bush where they feel safe. I used to walk up to them in thsoe scenarios, but now I jsut throw nades or spray their location after getting into a good spot. tldr Tarkov has very very very little rng + try to reflect on how sneaky you are REALLY being (recording and rewatchign your gameplay helps a lot)

Ai scavs are really something this wipe alone tho for real... almost every encounter i have with them... mostly whenever they just spawn in next to me where im headed i hear there voiceline and than im dead via head/eyes. Or i encounter em and shoot 4-5 shots at or close to their head and they still live. Than their are some raids where my dumb arse will repeak a corner rather i didnt have to or it was the only option i get head, eyes by them... oh and their servers this wipe so far god awful for me almost rubber banding every raid with 65 to 80 frames when i used to run 100 to 110 frames

You're just not picking up on the subtle nuances he does to avoid dying the way you do, just keep playing and you'll learn how to spot them and utilize them in your own gameplay. But convincing yourself other people are lucky and you're not is just a defeatist mentality. Luck isn't a thing if you don't believe in it, make your own god damn luck.

It's so satisfying getting out of a raid with less than 60 seconds left and several kills worth of goodies. When I saw you had 2 1/2 minutes left while near the marked circle, I thought for sure you were not making it out of there. THEN you stopped for your old bag and still made it out. I don’t know what to do, if I play solo I always run into duos or trios and all full geared like a navy seal team. If it’s a solo he is low geared and easy to kill. If i play With my best friend, we only get solos and if it’s a duo, it’s a level 14 guy and a level 31 guy playing together

As an pretty mcuh exclusive solo player, just cause I play other things with people and that's about eople, and solo Tarkov is about Tarkov and has an uncomparable thrill, I super agree with the "This wipe there are way more duos/trios etc." point. Almost feels kinda bad when you get royally r***d by a 5man, because even if they are bad and playing the game on baby easy mode, killing all 5 without dying is really hard in almsot all cases.

Hey I like the video and likewise your channel but some feedback is need here. Ultimately these fights completely avoid mentioning 2 very major and pre-determined things about these fights - 1: be very skilled at Tarkov already, 2; fight literal potatoes. Just saying mate, need to state you’re making a guide for intermediate to advanced players or start at a lower skill level

I look down so ideally i dont get shot in the head at all 😂 because the scavs were behind me, when i look down all they can land shots on are my thorax, stomach, arms & legs. Did this because they had buckshot & i didnt want 1 random pellet hitting my eyes, jaws, ears etc

Teach me oh wise one. I manage to ambush people a lot but most of the time I end up getting killed. Even if its 1v1. Maybe once or twice I managed to kill 2 players. Really frustrating as playing with someone gives you a MASSIVE advantage. I have neither friends who play nor the time to actually set up and play with someone.

When ambushing in this game, it is extremely important to kill the enemy with your first few shots. It's best if it only takes one. The faster you kill them, the less time they have to react. This is especially important when there is more than one. If you kill a guy with one shot his teammates will be looking around trying to find you and you could already be lining up another kill. Finally, try not to get too close when setting up an ambush. You want to be at an effective distance to engage them, but far enough away for you to retreat and reposition if they see you and push. Hope this helps.

@@TheBranchez Yup. Headshots are key. The ammo matters more than the gun, but a good gun definitely doesn't hurt. Take your time and really plan out the engagement in your head. When I watch people play I see them make quick decisions that aren't great, like pushing a player without cover, or deciding to shoot at a group when they're right in front of you instead of letting them pass and waiting to shoot later. Think about what decisions would keep you alive rather than give you a kill. If you play chess when they're playing checkers, you'll win most of the time. Lastly, bushes and cover are your best friend as a solo.

I played tarkov for a year straight back in 2017, since so many things have been implemented that make this game tedious that unfortunately i stopped enjoying the process of getting intoa raid. Given how long it takes to gear up, heal, prepare, eat, sort out the hideout and so on, it feels like I am spending more time in the menues than in game. In game I die to a scav, desync a cheater or sometimes I have luck and survive. Because I just cant play as much as oters I am never that good. With more recent changes like inertia, tedious healing and reloading animations the game has become too hardcore for me. the technical issues still prevail sinsce lauch. sometimes they get better sometimes they get worse. unlocking traders is just too much work imo. but the worst is stupid ammo limitations, because there will always will be people who play the market and then resell for higher prices. I am getting exploited in the real world enough, I dont need that shit in a game. I wanna get in have fun and get out. But unfortunately the devs think otherwise. I rather play something like battlebit, but I do miss the intense firefights of a game like tarkov. real shame

A friend recently asked me if youtube videos would be representative of tarkov and i said no,like all only games its rigged. The last 20 rounds i died 12 times, in these 12 times i got hit by 1bullet in the entire round, 9 times head eyes,2 times top of head (the only 2 times i wasnt wearing a helmet and they were shooting trash ammo) and 1 time a scav player in my leg with ks23. Just for people out there, these games are glorified gambling machines, dont waste your time.
