Blackfoot got its name to represent the American Indian heritage of its members: Jakson Spires (from Oklahoma) had a Cheyenne/French father and a Cherokee mother; Rickey Medlocke's father was Lakota Siou] and Blackfoot Indian, and his mother's side is Creek/Cherokee, Scottish and Irish; Greg "Two Wolf" Walker is part Eastern (Muskogee) Creek, a tribe recognized by the state of Florida, but not federally. Charlie Hargrett was the only white man of the original, classic line-up.

the album version is 7 min 31 seconds. The one she watched is 7 minute 1 second. The album version is basically just about 30 more seconds of that solo at the end. There's no other difference really, just the extra repeated soloing. It's a spectacular song.

Singer/guitarist Ricky "Rattlesnake" Medlocke used to play with Lynyrd Skynyrd and plays with them again since he left Blackfoot. Bassist Thunderfoot Jackson has meanwhile passed away a few years ago. Saw Blackfoot at Reading 1982 and again in Brussels in 1983. Formidable live band. "Strikes", "Tomcattin" and "Marauder" are the albums I like best. Later, Ken Hensley joined (Uriah Heep keyboard player) and they made two more excellent albums. "Siogo" and "Vertical Smiles".
