♥️Now this is genuine classic 90s hip hop reigning out of Chicago the legendt rap group "Do or Die". This group did not get the credit they deserved with the exception of Twista. The combined powers of all members featuring Johnny P on lead vocals were beyond fresh and in many ways the group was ahead of their time. They brought a different style to hip hop that was totally original in itself. Their music told a story about the Chicago pimping game but in a hardcore smooth sort of format. They just had a way of making the rap lyrics flow a certain way at a time that just couldn't be duplicated. All the ingredients were there and they will always be legends of classic original hip hop in my book. My freshman year of high school wouldn't have been the same without these guys, I Promise You That!!!!!👍😎👌 ♥️Continue to Rest in Power Johnny P. Your spirit for soul music fused with hip bop will always soar high above the sky just like your voice did my brother. You'll always be remembered and never forgotten. You've definitely been heavily missed.😢🙏

Do Or Die Twista, and many other Chicago legends we're beefing with Bone over the fast Rap style, but they have settled the beef, and refer to each other as family, and do music together as well now. So glad that's settled.

This is the song that Twista debuted this style, before this he was known as the fastest rapper at the time but here he slowed down and refined his flow to where people could memorize his verses better, and it worked! 🥂

I remember when this song came out in 96, then realizing there was a beef with Bone Thugs at that time years later. Then Twista and Layzie Bone dropped a heater, Midwest Invasion, after the squashing the beef.

Bone, Do or Die, and Tech N9ne were all I listened to in the late 90's and early 00's. Twista was good but I only liked him as an honorary member of Do or Die. I couldn't get into his solo shit much.
