@ it's not about vocal level all the time. It's about who suits the part better. I think that first part of the prechorus was supposed to sound darker and menacing. And Ryujin in my personal opinion really matched the vibe. I think Lia's brighter voice would have better suited Chae's second half of prechorus.

I think people are just used to the OT4 version that Lia sounds out of place. She likely recorded this much later and the master version had Lia's vocals pasted on.

@Utaeru They would if the master was already recorded with the other 4 vocals. Listen to a Korean track that has a Japanese version, the English words are on the master track, they layer the Japanese vocals on, which is why it sounds out of place all the time.

I'm happy that lia's back and that is her original lines that was sung by the other members but if we are being honest here ryujin and yeji is really the perfect members that suits to the song's vibe as if it was made for them. Lia's tone tome is great but her voice is not really for born to be's vibe since it is a dark song and lia's voice is a little bit soft. But i'm happy that she's back again.

I don't think the problem is Lia, but the producer. In some parts I think Lia's voice doesn't even sound like Lia (in general BtoB, Mr. Vampire and Untouchable). I don't want to stick to the OT4 version, but OT5 sounds too different from the original even though Lia is my bias along with Ryujin!

I totally agree. I can't understand others saying Lia doesn't suit the final vers because her voice is cute. Really? Is that cute? Her voice in weapon is really the best. The producer agreed to sing her that way. Lia can really sing not in her usual tone, her cutesy tone that everyone claims. Her lines in the final versions are actually pretty good. What's even worse others saying it's like AI. If you like Ot4 ver then stream it, but please don't criticize the ot5 if u don't like it. The amount of effort they've put into should be appreciated. And don't be sad if Lia has taken the lines for your ot4 because that lines are really meant for her. She just went on hiatus that's why the members sung her parts.

As much as I love Lia, I have to admit that OT4 versions are wayyy better. I was so excited about this final versions of the last albums songs, but I wasn´t expecting this... I have listened to all of the final versions, and in all them Lia´s voice sounds weird, like it doesn´t even match at some parts and completely breaks the song vibes. I love Lia, and I´m happy she´s back, but it seems like the producers didn´t even try to properly add her voice to the already released songs Adding to my point, when the Born To Be album was released I listened to OT5 ver. AI covers of that albums songs, and they sounded even clearer than this...
