Hi! Thanks for the great review! What is the bottom of the bag like? Any studs or protective tabs to keep the bag from ripping?

There is rubber beading along the edge of the bottom and a cursive Itzy Ritzy also written in rubber on the bottom. I can’t imagine the bottom of this bag ripping with so much protection.

Honestly you can’t go wrong with either. When my two were newborn and toddler I did use a boss but I always had so much more space than I actually needed. You could totally get away with using the dream backpack. I will say the dream backpack feels lighter and I would say is slightly easier to clean.

Yes, the side pockets are insulated a little bit. I have not tested them to see how long they would keep a drink cold though.
