Sneakers wasnt bad tho? It was a fun song, catchy and energetic. It suits them and their tomboyish concept. It’s not very powerful, but overall its really pleasing to listen to.

For me, I wasn’t a fan of the song. In terms of concepts, I agree that it does match the teen crush concept the girls have, but I wish that this comeback was just more thought through instead of having people think the concept was going to be like the teasers we got of the girls dressed in black

Their concept isn't tomboyish outside Ryujin and then not fully. Rejecting femininity isn't exactly a popular message and teen crush isn't hugely popular outside love songs.

Itzy did not have a consistent image before Mafia. Wannabe was not teen crush. Not Shy was not teen crush. Mafia is their highest charting international song. Loco which came after charted longer internationally, won 3 music shows, and the album charted higher internationally. Mafia being their downfall is absurd. Sneakers was a massive decline and after that things got repeatedly worse though so did their promotion. 1 week of promotion for Cheshire, no ads for Cake or Untouchable. Sneakers is not kid's bop it's literally teen crush. As far as their choreo their concert performances are some of the best they've done and Born to Be was literally year end level performances on music shows not to mention Mr Vampire or Algorhythm or Ringo. They've had several airport looks go viral recently as well. They need to stay far away from teen crush. Nothing would have made Sneakers a success. The title track should have been Rac3r and they should have kept going with the girl crush success they had from Wannabe through Loco similar to Blackpink.
