The reason their album is so much better is that the members finally sing from their vocal range. At last, JYPE has listened to all its members improve their singing. We can give a medal to Charyeong who does the vocals in Lia's absence. The surprise on this album is particularly Ryujin's voice and Yuna's improvement: she doesn't sound so childish any more. I think we can say that Itzy has turned a corner since 2021, because their music is much more mature today than it was before. So the older Itzy gets, the better their album will be. The older Itzy gets, the closer I get to Miss A and Mamamoo and their chill vibe at Red Velvet, not forgetting the badass side of Blackpink. What can I say? Itzy is a concialiation of the 2nd and 3rd generations of kpop, but they interpret it in their own way.

OBVIOUSLY anybody in Korea who regularly appears on camera as part of their job is going to be good-looking. That is totally a given because Koreans are all about Form over Function these days, it's all about appearances instead of substance (at least to begin with). From my perspective, there was nothing wrong at all with Chaeryeong's looks when they debuted. She was still a kid and guess what? Kids keep changing for a while. The same kind of thing happens for ALL of the under-aged performers as they age, that is inevitable. Over here, people called Mariah Carey 'ugly' when she was a kid. Look how she turned out, she grew up gorgeous. People called Julia Roberts 'ugly' when she was a kid, too. Look how she turned out, she grew up gorgeous. Just so everybody knows a little bit about my thought process: I am from the U.S. and we take everybody. There have been actors and singers who we thought were not exactly good-looking but if they were doing their jobs well, they still made it big with very FEW complaints about what they looked like. We do in fact have opinions about whether ewe think people are good-looking or not, but we are not SO STRICT about it that we came up with a CLASSIFICATION for it. We sure as hell don't limit somebody's success for their SKILLS if they simply don't happen to be as good-looking as Supermodels. Certainly, we are guilty of elevating those who are good-looking. But we don't FORCE that on anybody to the point they will end their own lives because of the pressure to try to fit into that impossible box. The 'KBS' is therefore just BS. It's a sexual fetish shared by the creators of the current K-Pop scene and these are crusty, wrinkly, bald TRULY UGLY old men by now, who obviously no longer fit in the box they created for every performer. They are wealthy jerks who forced their way of thinking about beauty onto the public by long-term brainwashing by Magazine pictures, Radio, TV, etc. These old farts control the media, simply because they have BIG MONEY. Fuck that. Those guys need to LOSE EVERYTHING THEY EVER GAINED from doing what they do. They deserve to live in poverty for the shit they have pulled and the harm they have caused to countless people that we don't even hear about, who have offed themselves or harmed themselves because they don't fit the KBS.

If the songs were actually BAD, JYP's production staff would have dumped them in the trash and fired the writers, plain and simple. But that is not what happened. The songs are musically stable and viable. They are just different, against your 'expectations' of what you THINK that Itzy 'should' sound like. You get used to the sound of something from the first time you hear it and then you ONLY expect to hear that one thing or type from then on, without deviation. How is it that you have no idea about Human Beings needing things to change sometimes? Do you ever wonder WHY people go to Exotic Locations when they go on Vacation? They need a change of scenery, that's why. Don't you ever get tired of eating THE SAME FOOD all the time, with THE SAME FLAVOR? You know, maybe one day you are okay with Mustard on your hot dog but the next you want Ketchup instead. The day after that, maybe you want a hamburger rather than another hot dog. All Itzy did was change out of the 'Angry', 'Badass', 'I'm-Unique-Not-Like-Those-Other-Girls', 'Girl Crush' sub-genre for the span of just a few songs. That does not make any of those songs BAD. It simply makes them DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YUO ARE USED TO. They went into the 'Sweet', 'Fun', 'Silly', 'Candy-Pop' genre to relax for just little bit. They have a right to relax. I love this song but I have one critique, im gonna be nit picking tho , whenever ryujin sings or raps it always falls short to the melody , I mean whenever she signs or raps her notes are really straight and one toned, no runs , no “spice “ it’s really one toned and that works in some songs but this song is really pop heavy with groovy melody , and ryujins singing style falls short for me , her voice doesn’t rise with the melody of that makes sense
