The clarity of her voice she is a literal Disney princess, but real. The way she so easily slides into her high notes without any scooping like it's just raw talent and I don't even love saying that all the time because it takes away from some of the hard work singers put into their careers to get where they are, but Jieun really started with such beautiful vocals to begin with. I think it’s so difficult to be recognized when you are the sololist, but the more difficult thing that I’ve seen is being recognized and being famous consistently for more than 10years. I think IU is the only sololist whom still famous until now. In the past, there are so many famous sololist but now they all have gone but IU still on chart, first in every charts whenever she had a comeback. I’m not a fan of IU in the term of songs at first (I watched her drama) but after see her in many variety show in 2009, 2010, I realized that she had been in a long way and of course still famous nowadays because of her TRUELY TALENTS! She don’t have to be in gg, don’t have to be in big company, don’t even have to dance to impress fans, it’s just all about just her potential and talents!

Not saying that idols aren’t singers, but companies usually focus more on the idols’ personality as a selling point, while singers are given a heavier emphasis on their songs.

This really brings my memories back to my college years around 9 years ago when me was playing this song and several other IU's like everyday for a whole day and got really obsessed with IU to the point i changed my socmed DP to IU's picture and the name to IU-gi (my name is yugi) lol. Now i'm already married and soon is going to have my second child and listening to this version of You & I makes me feel like how so much i already aged lol 😂. Yeah, Last Fantasy is her only album that isn't on Spotify. I had to buy the album on Play Music, download it, add the local files to a Spotify playlist on PC, and then download the playlist on mobile so that I can listen it with all her other albums on Spotify.
