Ryan; great pnt of the program’s ceiling under current leadership man…that was the national take beginning the season. Ppl thought we had top 10-15 talent. But with CMW as the question mark that took us lower. This staff doesn’t have the chops & leadership to make a BT run or think or 2nd weekend hopes. Every mid major coach will scheme and adjust around IU/woodson and then we won’t counter.

Galloway has been there 15 years. Came back because of the money. He’s a perfect example of what’s wrong with the players, program, everything!

We're on our way to the next best bubble - the NIT! ... A very revealing comment by Underwood after the game ... He said he "thought we did well in transition, that was an area that we thought we could hurt them" ... BUT OF COURSE!

But Gallo had to come back ... Ya see, he needed the NIL to stake his late night card game!

Time to get a truly elite coach for IU.

As fans, we have lived with hope for a return of Indiana basketball. I am a long ago graduate and I was hoping, but something is missing in the play and response to the coaching. So sad and I think we need more than hope.

INCREDIBLE STAT: This team actually found a "lower low-point" for the season ... They were down 38 to Louisville with 7:41 left in the game ... but tonight they were down 30 with 5:41 left in the 1st half!

Woodson is a disgrace to the legacy of Bob Knight.

There is no “bounce back” even possible…sure maybe win a game here or there. That’s not what I call or think of as far as wanting “IU to bounce back to a consistent top 30 team regularly. My ONLY hope is this: Dolson is the head of the Dept…when allowed (and X old ppl don’t get involved) I do have a great amount of faith he can get us a capable coach with philosophy & identity. I’m holding out until Woodson finishes putting the tarnish, rust, & disgrace on his name in IU lore.

I mean if we are saying the team has talent - it's the coaches job to align that individual talent into a team and ADJUST in real time. I think we could hire a guy off the street and get better results. The team has no identity, discipline, or heart. When you lose support of the fans it's over. IU fans don't expect to win every single game but what we do expect is hustle, heart, competitiveness, grit, determination, and a will to compete and win. What the hell has this program become over the last 20 years, my goodness.

My son has told me after this cf of a game that it is time for Woodson and his staff to go. I watched him play for Knight and was hoping for him to bring back ...."the glory of old IU"-but it is now clear to me that it is time for the program to get a coach who knows how today's college game works and can deal with how to motivate and hold players accountable for efforts and lack there of. The amount of $$$$ these guys get and now that they feel they are like NBA'ers is very sad.

It's obvious that IU will have to move on from Woodson after the season, but who wants this program given where it's at now? The Dusty May option was lost and no top coach wants to come here. Btw, losing Dusty will be felt for years, he's a very good coach and IU will have to take a beating from Michigan each year with him at the helm. Sad.

Ryan, I’m sorry but I don’t think the talent is there. A bunch of of individual stat getters were brought Into to the program . The whole is much less than the sum of the parts

I wait 7 months a yr for my fav team and sport to start. I’m in GA now and still have been able to “instill Hoosier blood” in my 10yr old… Damn it Woodson!!! You’re taking this away from me. IN is a smart basketball state, GA is not…how dare you let our school be even compared to GA by my son. This shit stops!!!! For god sake…

Unranked rutgers is probably the best win. And the way iu has been losing, there is NO WAY they "sneak" into the tourney without making some noise from here on out.
@harryhondo101313 күн бұрын
No, I'd say PSU was the best win, since it was essentially an away game.

The effort shown by the players is an effect of poor coaching...i dont think they believe they can win these games when they get down...there are no strategies, and there are no changes ... they know the staff cant adjust and it's hopeless at that point

It’s virtually impossible to evaluate the talent on this team when the coach is so ridiculously clueless and ineffective. Put Danny Hurley or Bill Self and you likely have a B1G Championship type team. It’s disheartening to see how this program has fallen. Fans are ambivalent and careless.

Do you so called Hoosier fans remember 1998 when Michigan beat Indiana 112 to 64 . Fire Knight . Fair weather fans . Woodson can’t shoot 3s for these guys . That said he did recruit them . I’m hanging with Woody and The Hoosiers. Beat Ohio State.
