So curious how foreigners could be IU's fans, although IU is not in the mainstream of world-wide kpop scene. (of course, she is the #1 beloved female artist IN Korea, who is best suited to Korean's emotions)

It's pretty crazy how many fans she has world wide. She represents Korea much much more than whatever their tourism Ministry can do. I can't think of many other solo artists that can sell out stadiums in countries that don't speak the language.
