노래를 듣는 순간 울컥했어요. 23살때 3년동안 암투병하시던 어머니가 돌아가셨는데 투병기간동안 함께했으면서도 못 해드린게 너무 많고 못다한 얘기가 너무 많아서 아쉽고 아팠거든요. 그래서 이후에도 2년동안을 밖에 나오지 못 하고 집안에만 갇혀 살았어요. 그때 죽지 않은 게 신기할 정도였어요. 근데 결혼하고 아이낳고 잊고살다가 이 노래듣고 다시 그때의 감정이 훅 올라오면서 눈물이 나더라고요. 아름다웠던 그 기억에서 만난다는 그 말이 제 마음에 남았습니다. 그래서 지금은 슬프지 않습니다. 우리는 그 섬에서 다시 만나 서로를 베고 누워 슬프지 않은 이야기를 나눌 것을 믿으니까요. 저는 아이유님의 나만 몰랐던 이야기를 듣고 팬이 됐고, 배우로서의 이지은님은 더더욱 사랑합니다. 나의아저씨를 보며 당시 우울했던 제 삶도 달랠 수 있었어요. 육아로인해 저는 아무활동도 못 하지만, 언제나 아이유님 편이고 아이유님을 응원합니다. 이 댓글을 보실지는 모르겠습니다만 혹시 보신다면 저같은 그림자(처럼 조용히 응원하는) 팬도 많다는 것을 알아주셨으면 좋겠어요. 저는 아직 29개월인 제 딸도 아이유님처럼 잘 키우고 싶어요. 화이팅! 사랑합니다♥

Fans aren't supposed to be calm though. The word "fan" is just a short form of the word "fanatic", meaning someone who is crazy about something/someone. And companies who manage boy groups & girl groups encourage this because the more fans love their biases, the more money they are willing to spend on them. Sasaengs are a byproduct of this marketing strategy. IU's target audience is not the same as boy groups & girl groups which is why her fans are more chill. I guarantee you there are some dudes out there who are totally in love with her though.
