It was Sunday and I was waiting for your reaction of IU. These two songs are not the biggest IU’s song yet they are beautiful and sweet (heart is a song for her fans. I sleep with this song every night since her songs and herself are related and comforting. It helps me to calmly get through my cancer treatment period like a guardian angel) She is for my own opinion the most versatile artist in this industry. A true legend.

Three points we learn fron this clip : 1.iu's en-encore culture. After encore section, she will be back and sing requested songs/ songs that are rarely sung in main list. With casual outfit like that ... 2.iu's songs are timeless. Heart is releases in 2015, raindrop is 2010's song (!!!). But we heard it in her 2017 concert. In her world tour recently, she still sing windflower (2009) and someday (2011) in en-encore 3.heart is one of iu's fan song. Singing heart together with fan is one of usual iu's concert event. The lyrics (written by her) is like a promise/ confession, so its very meaningful to sing to each other. In some concert, she would let fans sing 70% of the Heart 😂

It's impressive how her en-encores (that they hadn't prepared) are always soooo amazing! This proves how wonderful she and her band are 🤩

Heart is written by IU to her fans (UAENA) like the love letter to let them know how much they mean to her and IU had said many times that this is one of her favorite song and she wants this lyric to be written on her tombstone because she wants to be remembered that she loved her fans so much 😢💜💙

You should know that IU sang that song RAIN DROP as an en-encore after singing her five-hour concert.

I think in this en-encore IU asked the band to choose a song and kim seungho (the drummer) chose rain drop, a song that is quite easy for the band but the difficulty falls on the vocalist which is why IU is (playfully) scolding him before singing

Oh lol I remember this lol 😭 I always sing IU's song.. so.. I know for sure Rain Drop is a nice song but at the same time it's hard to sing 😆

Rain-drop, the song that I like best. In 2010 IU was gradually known to people, and "nagging" was a big hit, and "Rain-drop" was hidden in B-side of that song. But on a rainy day, when students came back home on a bus from school, some of them heard the song "rain-drop" on a radio, watching rain-drop outside of the bus windows, IU's crying "oh rain-drop, oh rain-drop, I need more love cause I don't have enough, oh rain-drop, oh rain-drop, love is like that rain-drop, like a cold, a mental black-out that had got rain-soaked, got sick with body-aches", and they began to be a real authentic life-long fans of IU. A magical moment of empathy among IU and Uaena.

Ah.. how I wish I could sing Heart in her concert along with many Uaenas... 😭 Oh how I remember IU said she wants to be remembered by her song "Knees" and "Heart"😭😭😭❤️

It's rare for a singer to let her team to have some of the spotlight & it shows how much they love & respect each orher. IU even invited her whole team to get on stage with her to receive the producer of the year award. Her fan songs are where she let her fans have the spotlight as well. Haters said that she let paying audiences to sing & do the work. Little did they know it's a privilege to serenade to her but I guessed their faves' songs are mostly dance songs & group songs.

Yes, she’s really loves her fans, like UAENA love her so much ( there are some songs ( 2/3 ) that She dedicated for her fans ( epiloge, i stand u and one more i forgot )

Hi and thank you for your heartfelt reaction. I'm really happy you reacted to this particular clip, It's one of my favorites. Raindrop is very difficult to sing, actually at the beginning she's complaining to Seungho (Drummer) when she finds the song picked is Rain drop. She says oppa! common that song for me is like a 10 out of 10 for difficulty! while for you is like a 6 out of 10! that's why the camera focus on the drummer at the beginning and we can see him embarrassed while casually playing the drums while IU is singing her heart out despite been singing for hours. The camera also covers the vocalists, the guitar, keyboard and all of them whom have been part of the IU team for years. So that's a little glimpse not only of the truly impressive IU's skills but also her personality she's honest, shy, loyal and generous.

Fun fact : when you listen to the original studio version made in 2010 you actually can realize how much she improves her vocal skill in 2017. This live version is much better in terms of technics and her voice is more natural than in 2010 when she used to sing with a falsetto. Timeless song !
