IU 'Love wins all' Recording Behind - IU (아이유) REACTION

IU recently said in her Suchwita interview with Suga that in her 20s she had each day planned out. But going into her 30s she doesn't want to do that any longer. She said she wants to be at ease and well balanced in everything she does in mind and body. So I think she is trying to focus on taking more care of herself nowadays. As other comments have stated, she already had to previously postpone the recording 3 times because she was sick which is why she felt she had to push thru with this recording.

The recording has been postponed 3 times, because IU keeps getting sick... so she can't postpone it any longer, because it looks like she's being chased to edit the music video... Maybe...

You watch old IU TV behind the scenes of dramas, recording sessions, concert tours and music videos, she seems to always be working on no sleep, no food, 16 hour days, freezing, sick. dehydrated.

As I understood it, after she had postponed this recording 3 times already due to illness, December and January became really tight for her. Also because she was still in the process of filming for the upcoming drama she stars in. Getting the (famous) director and (beyond famous) costar together for the music video, while she herself didn't have any recordings for her drama going on, only those 2 days were available. This song recording session HAD to be done the next day, as she had more drama shoots and travelling to the US planned, etc. She seems to be a bit of a perfectionist indeed, so kudos to her for accepting this ill recording to last forever? 😅 She also seems to be a bit of a workaholic. Her late teens she was under an agency that made her do promotion after promotion and like 2 albums per year. Seeing how she is now under her own agency, and hadn't done any albums for about 3 years, I'd say she's taking much better care of herself these days, though. ❤

In the U.S., all her concerts are almost sold out as of last week so I'm pretty sure they are by now. When I checked last week, their were around 1,500 tickets remaining combined. L.A. would be the closest for me and ticket outlet prices were starting at $1k and up. 😢 I would love to see her live, it's on my bucket list. She is an amazing artist.🔥

Huh? Ticketing hasn't begun for the US stops yet. Only the first two stops have sold tickets so far. Seoul has been sold out and Japan just finished pre-sale.

She has never done any concerts outside of Asia. She only ever focused on the Korean market, also because her songs and strengths are so lyric heavy and poetic, even difficult to understand and interpret for Koreans, with all the ambiguity within the Korean language she likes to play around with. She did 1 tv show in the US, many years ago. Other than that, she's only done perfomances in East Asia. This will be her first world tour. It might be the only time she comes to the UK. Don't miss it 😉

One thing IU learned is to record the song first before doing the MV.
