Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I'm really sorry your first iui didn't work. I blubbed when you said she came on her period as that happened to me after our first round of ivf and it was awful. I'm looking forward to your next update. Whether it's iui or ivf you guys have got such a good chance. During my first round we went to an nhs hospital and met a lesbian couple who were doing ivf at the same time. They had 2 embryos put back and 6 in the freezer for other tries with their super sperm vs our 2 poor quality ones and none in the freezer. Good luck. I'll be following along xx

Thanks Emma. It is so much more intense that I thought it would be - our confidence has taken a kicking, for sure. In fact, truthfully I think we were a bit blasé about how difficult it would actually be. x

Lisa and Lynsey Parkins it is really hard. I think unless you've been there you just have no clue. I have a friend who likened ivf to having acupuncture and getting pregnant (I did accupuncture during my first round so know what its like) let's just say we are no longer friends. Just please don't give up. That is why loads of people don't get their happy endings, not because treatment didn't work but because they didn't give it a fair chance. You guys have got this and once you get the happy ending you will forget about all the bad times xx

So funny I watched this a few days before my partners scan (he's a trans guy and will be the one to carry for us fingers crossed!) and, what d'ya know, we also have 3 big whopper follicles in there looking way too keen to all turn into babies. probably going to abandon this first cycle too and try less of the letrozole next month but still a day or two to make our final call on it. glad to have your videos for some reference points/solidarity/company on this TTC journey

Hopeful for your next try! I'm having my first IUI in a couple of weeks and I'm being pretty optimistic about it just like you were. But don't you have to be? :) Positive thoughts sure do help, maybe not every time, but we have to be hopeful! xxx

I have a question can you do IUI the same day you go in to speak with the doctor ? Or do you have to wait till the next day to do so ?

You need to schedule your IUI around ovulation otherwise it won't work. Hope that helps x

When you have an IUI do they put you on clomid first IUI in July taking prenatal also COq10 and drinking tons of water and Gatorade switched from caffeine to caffeine free and decaf HSG was great clear egg count 2.1 and I'm 35 l will be 36 in November. No ideal what to expect hmm

All our IUIs were unmedicated. The first time Lynsey took Clomid it left her borderline over-stimulated, so we decided not to take it again. x
