What don’t you people understand about this text. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

@Harrow2033 The works of the law is the sacrificial laws. Its not talking about all of God's law that he gave Israel. U dont understand what that verse is saying. The works of the law spoken of in that verse is talking about the law of sacrifice. That was the whole thing about the scribes and Pharisees because they were against Christ as the Messiah and were still abiding by the old covenant of the sacrificial laws. Read Hebrews 9:13-14 for the answer and u can also read Hebrews chapter 10. It was about "the sacrificial law".
