I lived in Turkey for 2 years, in the city of Izmir, named Smyrna during Paul's time. In that city was one of the 7 churches in Revelation. I went to the Isle of Patmos to the cave where John saw the vision of Christ. On the wall was a painting of John lying on his back looking up at Christ, who was surrounded by angels, everyone was black. This cave is under the supervision of the Catholic Church, they know (Catholic Church), he was a black man.
