I’ve got oily, acne prone skin and this sunscreen is really nice. It has a semi matte finish and doesn’t turn me into a bowl of grease at the end of the day.

A lot of Sunscreen companies here in Australia are using all those great new filters and I'm all here for it, I just love how elegant and well performance those filters can get Bondi Sands, Naked Sundays, Le tan, Mecca max and Mecca Cosmetica sunscreens, LRP......all recently been releasing great elegant high performance Sunscreens, even Cetaphil stepped up their game and released bunch of nice new filters Sunscreens I was shocked. I think the ONLY Korean Sunscreen I've ever bought was BOJ rice Sunscreen and it was fine not the best but I know ppl love it, I wanna try more K and J beauty spf but honestly I have the same trust issues like you mentioned so I'll stick to the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration TGA advice of using approved AU Sunscreen Finding good sunscreen to use on daily basis and/or sport water resistant ones especially there in the US market is a nightmare from what I heard, I can imagine how hard it can be.

This checks all the boxes for me. Not overly dewy but not matte-dry either; more of an ever-so-slightly glowy natural finish with a touch of green to subdue redness. No fragrance. No EO. Not a bucketful of potentially sensitizing plant extracts (just 49% centella). Doesn't sting my eyes. 60 ml instead of the usual 50, so you're getting a bit more value than other Korean sunscreens. Regularly available for less than $15. It's not waterproof, so I wouldn't use this for focused outdoor activities, but I wouldn't use any Korean sunscreen for that anyway. I've tried most of the heavy hitters on the market, and this one leads the pack for me. Note: I don't wear makeup, but I've never experienced any pilling (at least with the products in my current routine).

This one is really lovely and great for day to day use! I used it often during the winter when I don't need to worry about swimming or sweating, and it never irritated my skin and worked so nicely under foundation.

It isn't waterproof. Awwww. I really want to try it. It would be a good option for my skin cause it tends to get drier during the winter. But heavy rain often happens at that time
@johnmichaelarnaud

@@reveurimadreamer5035 I understand that dilemma. One of the aspects that makes so many of these Korean sunscreens elegant is that they AREN'T waterproof, which tends to require ingredients that sit heavier and more oily feeling on the skin.

I love this sunscreen! I tried a few others that burned my eyes or looked greasy, and this doesn't. I use it every single day at work. I never had any pilling? I wish they made it water and sweat resistant, though, because I will probably have to switch once the weather gets warm. I work in the elements.

Hi, this might be out of context regarding this video but have you tried the Paula's Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum (with vitamin c)? If yes, is it worth spending the money on? I feel it might be a bit silicone heavy in texture. Also, if sometime you could make a video on your favorite antioxidant products, it would be very helpful. Thank you.

I did one a while ago, but I should definitely do an updated video on it- the video is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYuzlX-fqcuIl9E I like the PC Antioxidant Serum but I don't think I've every review it. Great for drier skin types- if you have oilier skin I'd go with their Antioxidant Pore Purifier Serum version.

This sunscreen feels very and nice and it somewhat leaves a matt / natural finish but for some reason it makes my face sweat horribly, I used a lot of sunscreens and I did experience this with other sunscreens but it's not a very common thing. I don't understand the science behind it and why does it make my face sweat like that.
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty 11 ай бұрын
I wonder why that would happen? Most sunscreens provide a protective film over the skin- my best guess would be it has something to do with that.

May I know if this sunscreen water resistant and it is easy to wash or not?
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty Жыл бұрын
This one washes off quite easily, although the flip side of that is that it is not water resistant. If swimming or sweating you will want to be sure to reapply this one right away afterwards. Otherwise it is a great day to day sunscreen and feels so light on skin!

Is it board spectrum??? Plz reply 🥺🥺
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty Жыл бұрын
Broad spectrum is a term to describe US sunscreens, basically it defines if the sunscreen protects from UVA rays. Since this Sunscreen is made in Korea they don't use that term, instead they use something called PA. This sunscreen has PA++++ which is the highest amount of UVA protection. So yes, this is sunscreen protects from both UVB and UVA rays. 👍

I find that this sunscreen feels really greasy if applied the "correct" amount of 1 teaspoon on face and neck. If applied "like a moisturizer", it feels comfortable, but still leaves the skin pretty shiny (specially on my oily skin) and feels heavy when applied on top of a cream or serum. For humid and hot places or summer, or even oily skins, I think it's too messy and annoying to wear.
@cstatum1

It's a 1/4 of a teaspoon, not a whole teaspoon. That should help with it feeling so heavy.

The main issues isn't the brands, it's that the laws in Korea have a huge loophole in regards to testing and accuracy of SPF levels and until this gets resolved, it is a liability. Not even the brands fault at this point.
@peterkloostermann
@peterkloostermann 4 ай бұрын
@@NOBSBeautyI do think the brands were to blame to some extend. If you buy a standard spf formula from a supplier and start changing it, and think you dont need any retesting, that is just being ignorant, showing a lack of knowlegde, anyone can tell that will change your spf value. Also thinking that 5% total filter content would give SPF84 was just crazy, there even was one spf50+ with 2% total filter content. And then there was a brand threathening to sue people for pointing it out. Yeah, the brands were definitely also to blame, besides the loophole in the regulation.
This made my skin 10x smoother!! 😳 *OVERNIGHT*
