Google assistant and Gemini are hopeless when it comes to language understanding and bilby for some unknown reason to me is unpopular however responds to language better than google assistant or Gemini as well, so far Siri is a 10/10 in terms of language understanding.

Then the android fanboys get envious that Apple has utilised the tech in a better way than android has managed to do; so then they revert to the old… “We had it first”.😂

Nice deep dive but two points: Siri actually started as a standalone app including on iOS before Apple bought them out. Also: Apple hasn’t actually demoed any of this stuff yet in real-time and has suggested it will be coming out “over the coming year“. You will get the iOS 18 update, but the AI features will be a different story, you need a device with 8GB memory to get all the AI features, and Siri 2.0 is also an AI feature.. so chip like A16 what is nearly 2 years old and designed nearly 3 years ago doesn't have that amount of RAM, because that was before the AI hype, they didn't focused on the memory (as it's impossible to turn off the RAM, it continously drain your battery even in standby/idle, not a clever idea to put way more memory like necessary in devices with battery, because it shorten the usage time, more RAM use more power to operate..)

This isn't new, Google assistant can fetch better and always will be able to do this better. Samsung is better at using AI in application processes, Apple on the other hand has the ability to bring more creative tools into AI in which we saw a few with the beta, and again this is super neat for content creators and work/ professional presentation, but none of these companies care about your privacy, they've all been sued regarding, they care about profit and they will continue to use the data to benefit. You can ask Google to find anything on your device right now, Samsung calculates and commands your entire phone with AI, but you can't draw or create to the magnitude that an apple device can because they own the tools as it stands, so let's hope apple planned properly, cause creative tools are coming and apple still is in need of many models they don't have access to. The point is keeping your integrity without any loss, they've gained some ground, but they better deliver.

I hope it will it be able to do complex tasks in order such as apply luts to a video, and an intro and ending. Or be able to put branding materials/logos on a picture for a post or fill out a Contract. Which brings me to my second point that being Apple should have AI/Siri integration with some of the biggest apps for example it’ll find a post you described that you saw on Instagram or KZbin or your photo library and have it integrated with apps like Canva or CapCut regardless of whether or not if they have their own dumbed down version of AI. I hope it remembers who I am and what I do sort of like GPT-4o or as someone mentioned Jarvis to Iron man. In a way I would like it to be my personal assistant/second brain that just makes my life so much easier. It would amazing if it Prioritizes my daily tasks, reminders, important topics referenced to friends via text, call or anything else and events and I hear them in sequence when I double tap the action button.
