Do you not think the songs he creates are what he's going through at that current moment? He's obviously going through shit so he doesn't want to make hype stuff, though I get what you're saying. If you made music you'd understand, you don't just make songs - you feel a vibe & then you ride it and if your lucky, a song may come out the other end.
