You're onto something when you said it seems Luka doesn't get caught up in feelings and maybe that's the X-factor (he certainly thinks so). Based on the Q&A from the creators, Luka (previous season's winner who came back) actively looked down on this season's contestants who did get caught up in their emotions and personally chooses to avoid that kind of baggage. It's canon that he has a big enough fanbase from last season that he would win regardless of who he's up against. But I personally think he insists on bringing up the sources of Mizi and Till's trauma during their rounds because he feels compelled to mock the emotions they're caught up in - the same ones he looks down on. However at the end of Round 7, he comes face to face with the only person he has ever cared about: Hyuna, who he's likely going to be pitted against in the next performance as a special guest. @@yorurumi thank u I'm glad u enjoyed yeah I definitely think so also a detail that I think is something to note is how they make Luka older than all the other main characters he's 30 while the rest are 21-22 so I believe in that sense he has more emotional maturity or he knows and understands how to suppress his emotions in a better way mask them or hold them back or more his survival instincts kicking in I don’t think he’s a psychopath who doesn’t care at all because he can see after around four he kisses the hands of the opponent who died which shows some form of compassion To me that’s what makes him a compelling character and villain and why it’s well written. You want to hate him but at the same time can you really hate his actions because he was just doing what he did to survive and a victim the same as everyone else

In fact, in the 6th round, when Ivan kisses Till in the full song, there is a part where the two of them sing together but in the MV it is not shown because Ivan intentionally drops the mic sacrifices himself and dies.😢😢

Because like get this, Mizi only looks at the end but Ivan looks like he’s been watching from the beginning, adding to the fact that Till is so focused on getting Mizi’s attention, he doesn’t realize Ivan’s been the one watching him the whole time. (Ivan being behind Mizi) 17:20, we only see Mizi because he’s so focused on the fact she’s looking at him that he doesn’t notice Ivan at all

while its unsure what he felt towards ivan, we do know he both loved and hated him as a person. The reason Mizi brings so much life to him though in round 7 isnt just because he loves her, but because he now knows one of his friends is alive. Till believes that mizi is free from all of this, and him giving up was a result of feeling like he had nothing left to live for with his entire generation and only friends, dead. Ivan, as the person who sacrifices himself for till, becomes a negative influence on him. When he does remember him, it is only the bad parts because of how much his death affects him. Despite their feelings, all four of them had some kind of connection and relationship, so I can only imagine what losing all you know is like

This is the most realistic outcome with the final, till wasnt mentally stable, hes exhausted. Mixed with the abuse from the aliens before round 6, and having the nonconsensual kiss from the guy he grew up with since childhood who died in front him, it was clear he wasnt gonna win. Luka won last season and this stage, so he already had a large following by the purple crowd. Purple being Lukas color. I know this was 2 weeks ago your reaction, but yeah. You missed it in R5. Right before they could shoot Mizi, the rebel group broke in. They dragged her out before she was killed. The others didn't know what had happened to her... if she was alive or dead, so she was declared missing and Luka won by default as a result in R5.
