This was in one of the clique cellars near Kaserne Basel this summer. Our pipe band performed at the Basel Tattoo and a number of drummers from different bands were invited to a Basel drumming workshop hosted by the Tattoo & one of the cliques. It was so cool going down into this secret drumming area! Ivan is one of the nicest guys and a fantastic player. We got to show him some pipe band playing and he got to blow our minds! I have some other workshop stuff to post as well.

It was a good time! We have musters in ct. I'm from Bristol. Our biggest events are deep river muster in July and Westbrook in august. You should come up. Open to public. We get Swiss groups that come all the time. I think next Swiss visit will be in 2014 by most of the Swiss corps, wild bunch, rrr, Argovia and a few others. Tho i think the swiss mariners will be coming this year.others.

Where is your pipe band from? I left there about a week before the tattoo. I was there for the fife and drum muster in the theatre platz. I also played in t1 class in liestal as member of junteressli clique.

Where was this taken? I had the honor of meeting Ivan after the competition in liestal and played supernova and gorilla for Ivan at 4am in the morning during Gässle. Thanks for the vids.

We're from Wilmington, MA USA. Google our website "stuarthighlanders". (KZbin won't allow my to post the link). The band is split into Grade 2 & 4 for competitions. But members from both groups played at the Tattoo. I'd love to see the muster sometime, as well as your clique. I've seen the video where Ivan conducts Supernova. Pretty challenging to play at 4:00 AM, I bet!
