it's not a note-perfect performance, but I wanted nonetheless to offer an alternative interpretation of the piece to those currently floating around online. there is a romantic warmth to these harmonies and sonorities, and the arching melodies really "sing". I hope something of this "heat" - at times even searing - comes through here. I also think it's a different experience of the piece, not to follow with the score; the intricacy of the "magic square" sections less complex, more dreamy and mesmerizing...
