My perants would be heart broken, food is one of the biggest ways to show love and respect and welcome people into your home. When I have people over even at 1am my mom and dad are in the kitchen preparing something for us. In alot of cultures food means about more then just "food" its a gift from the gods and we are so blessed to be able to eat a nice home-cooked meal.
