Great track! The good news on the GAS... There are some crazy good deals on the Digitakt out there right now. If you have one it makes little sense to sell it. If you don't, they are cheap enough picking up a DT1 over the DT2 is a great bargain (especially for new people).

Yeah the OGDT is still extremely relevant. I cant say it hasnt been surpassed by its successor, but the fact that so many can be found in the used market means prices on them will drop which makes them an even better value than they were a few days ago.

Noice! - Always impressed with your sonic experiments on these machines my friend. Other than already having an Analog Heat MkII, I finally bought into the Elektron gear last year, and this channel absolutely played a part in that decision. I started with the Syntakt, - and having been a keen Akai user since the late 80s, I immediately knew I'd love the Digitakt, once I realised how much fun the workflow was, having used the Syntakt. It kind of takes me back to the days when I used to sequence an old S950 via a Roland R8 drum machine. MkII? meh, - I rather like the limitations of the original unit, - now if they'd added some extra outputs, that would have peaked my interest, but I know that's not the real point of these machines. - god bless
