As much as I like IVE, this concept seems off to me. It doesn’t really fit their concept as a group in my opinion. Even Wonyoung who can sell any concept with her facial expressions seemed almost there for me but not quite. The chorus is catchy and as a whole the song isn’t too bad, but again, it seems like they tried hard to make the concept fit them, but it didn’t sell to me.

I gotta disagree with that one, the only one who even comes close to not fitting is Liz and even that would be a stretch. I think what you're seeing is just a departure from what thier concept was like before. Like they've always done elegant concepts while this song completely drops it, so that's probably catching people off guard.

i mean no, have you seen the studio choom? their facial expressions were perfect. you don’t have to have a stoic expression to look fierce, it’s in the eye contact, plus when they smile and then go back to looking cold, that makes it even better. i guess if you don’t get it then you just don’t get it 🤷
