This for me is a definite SOTY and I stand by it. Literally not a second of the song is wasted. Like, the chorus is so grand and epic, the prechorus is elegant and beautiful plus the bridge and the verses have enough variety and catchiness. Overall, the whole song is also kinda nostalgic and emotional. Not only that , all the members are shining as well. I have never been more satisfied with a comeback in quite some time.

Its at the very least SOTM for April :D Can't imagine anything surpassing it this month. But yeah... SOTY candidate for me as well. Although I'm curious if it will grow or fall for me over time (with multiple listens). Kitsch really and strongly grew on me with repeated listens. Still think, that "Love Dive" is their best (and a "once in a generation") song, but IVE seems to be unable to put out a "good" song. They're all great.

It's so nice to have a respectful reactor that understands idols are people. There is another reactor ( won't name names) that dragged wonyoung as her and friends for this video. I love that the first thing that the song and WY says is basically "I'm following my path. You don't have to follow where I'm going. You're you, I'm me. We have our own path to follow." The point isn't to emulate her clothes, hairstyle, accessories, etc. - you have your own path, a different "door" to open. The point that you should emulate WY is her confidence and self love, not the outward, surface level stuff. Right off the bat, this song knocks it out of the park.

I'm not their fan I don't stan them but whenever they drop a comeback i automatically like it. I don't even know why i just think that that's the impact they have on people i guess. I Am is my favorite title track by them and it's a beautiful wholesome song, I've been obsessed with over the past 2 days. The lyrics make me so emotional too, everything is perfect. I preferred Kitsch when I Am just came out but now i have to take back my words.

my interpretation i little different I really think they flex but the song is about the fact that their success doesn't stop them from being themselves. and that this confidence is part of who they are. for example YUJIN very well said in several variety shows she has her idol image that she preserves for the good of the group on stage and in life but in the variety shows she shows who she is fully a happy girl, funny with a lot of confidence. kind in the music show told her "ah yujin you are so beautiful and so talented" she answers "thank you I just do my best for the group" and in the variety show told her "YUJIN you are so beautiful" she answers "yes I know" with a big smile.

Hi DG. The thing I love about IVE is they don't let their haters get them down. The whole song is a flex for the fans... Private jets, couture outfits, exclusivity, which we love to see. The lyrics are a one, two punch. Like, you thought your hate would create insecurity, well think again! That part at the end where you said that IVE have solidified themselves as a major success in such a short time reminds me of something another KZbinr talked about. This isn't just another comeback. They're releasing a full length album. They're still in their rookie phase having only been on the scene for a little over a year and after only three single albums (and no EPs) they're already releasing a full album. welcome back DG i hope you got a proper rest . i know than YT can be tired somtemite we need to take fresh air . well for IVE once again absolute banger they drop the song one week ago and i already heard this song more than 100 time in a street , on commercial center , shop and in my house . they are really good at choosing their title tracks and in particular Wonyoung who has a very good musical ear and a good feeling on what can become a successful song. if Kitsch put forward their charisma and their confidence. I'am put forward their voices. it's a vocal shocase (E4, E5, G5, C4, C3) etc. YUJIN and LIZ are incredible but LEESEO and WONYOUNG's bridges are captivating. the MV is also of high quality. in their behind the scene and on their reation to their MV they say that their team has reproduced a real airplane wing for them to dance on. the IC inlays are also very good. if you have time you could react on their album. which is very good quality?? another thing I can no longer connect to your patreon my payment has been blocked for 7 days I don't understand why. if you have the answer.

I love this song! It's so uplifting and hopeful. Also Wonyoung jumping out of the plain was one of the best transitions I've seen this year. My bias in this group is Gaeul (Gah-uhl) not cowl :) but Yujin definitely was bias wrecking me this video. Loved both of your IVE reactions!

Koreans actually say De-Ja-View(데자뷰) so I thought the director just let them pronounce it in korean way or the lyric writer wrote the word in korean. Still think your interpretation is convincing. Who knows?😂

I have to interrupt. She is pronouncing deja-vu correctly. It's just the people who pronounce it wrong. But if you talk to someone who speaks French or listen to them speaking, you'll always hear they pronouncing it, like IVE is doing in this video. Slightly different still, but deja vu is pronunced deja "view" with the w more or less not spoken. Don't know how to explain 😂 But I love your reaction to this ❤

Sorry, but I have to partly disagree. In my experience, that is not how the French pronounce it. I mean, I agree that they don't pronounce the "w", but they don't pronounce it like "view" (like IVE does) either. The English "view" sounds like it has a j/y in it, like "vjiew" or "vyiew", while the French don't pronounce that in dejavu. I do somewhat agree that IVE pronounce it "correctly" though, according to how it is written in korean: 데자뷰 (de-ja-byu). Ateez, on the other hand, chose to pronounce it as de-ja-voo.

I agree that the French "u" here sounds more like the German "ü" (like in "tür") than the "oo" (dejavoo). But I guess that's what languages do: take a word from a different language and pronounce it the way they want.

I had no idea she had heart issues, and to your question, I for example was born with a heart condition but until I was 18 years ago I was told that it's a minor issue and no action was needed, and then suddenly in 2-3 months I went from "fine" to "you need open heart surgery or you'll die". It's unfortunate, I hope she's okay.

@@DGReacts yes i know for you're condition that why we said often to take care of you . but for REI it's new starship post a letter and Rei wrote a letter to talk about that 2 days ago . many people are afraid than that could be because of the covid "injection" in korea we got a choice . but in japan or in some country you have to be injected with no choice . i just hope than i'am wrong about that and i hope she can recover soon .
