A lot of the questions were really poor too in general, like they could've certainly done more to make sure the girls actually had questions they could answer. Like I think they were getting stuff like "Yujin short hair" and "Gaeul funny" etc which are clearly search terms from people looking for images/videos of the girls, but aren't really anything that the girls can actually respond to in any meaningful way. The whole thing felt a little awkward and like Wired didn't really try all that hard with finding the girls good search terms.

i felt weird throughout the whole interview. most members had very bad questions, of course including liz. things like “gaeul funny”, “yujin short hair”, “wonyoung crush”, and i believe rei also had a really odd one that made me go “??”. they really should have researched them more, and i’d assume this happens with a lot of people, and probably a lot of idols or other international guests. i don’t feel it would be a big deal to choose something a little better than questions that aren’t even about the person you’ve invited or are a little more than “yujin short hair” or “gaeul funny”. i mean, come on. wired should have done more on their end because it was so awkward and i honestly felt bad for the members, trying to make these more engaging and less awkward. especially because some members hadn’t much to say during the interview because the searches were very bland.

If you only search 'Liz' none of the first results will be about IVE's Liz. Same reason why they searched 'Naoi Rei' instead of just Rei. They probably didn't know there was an actress with the same name, which made the moment weird but it was a genuine mistake. As for the results, they were ALL boring. Definetely one of Wired's worst interviews, which got saved mostly by Wonyoung being bubbly.
