I have always been nervous to even fib a little on my resume - Santos lied about EVERYTHING and was rewarded with a seat in congress!!! This speaks volumes about our politics since the orangutan came down the escalator.🤔🤔🤔

Just remember a lot of credit for the Santos abomination comes to those who elected him to Congress in the first place! He had a lot of adoring locals enthralled with his “tall tales” of experience & supposed success in a variety of businesses. We ALL SAW his adoring fans who mostly appeared to be 50+ up to many elderly. Why didn’t ANYONE vet him? Do a deep dive into his background, his history of grifting, stealing from roommates, run in with the law, lack of proven work experience, out & out lies such as his mother dying on 9/11, being involved in rescuing folks in Pulse Nightclub attack, being a successful stock trader in New York City, the LONG LIST OF LIES unable to be verified because THEY NEVER HAPPENED! We ALL KNEW ABOUT HIM BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED! Santos was the Pied Piper charlatan wooing his many elderly constituents who bought his FAKE BRAVADO LINE OF LIES, HOOK, LINE & Sinker! Congress must require deep dive background checks regarding education, finances, personal tax history, work history, debt, actual criminal issues. All to be done at the CANDIDATE’s expense! This would ELIMINATE LOW LIFE LIARS & GRIFTERS from ever even QUALIFYING TO RUN FOR OFFICE. Think of LAUREN BOBERT….had to take the high school GED 4 times before FINALLY PASSING. (Probably sent in a “ringer” posing as Bobert, to finally pass it, 3wks before running for office. GOP has truly brought CONGRESS TO AN ALL TIME NEW LOW & the list is long, Ted Cruz, MTG, Bobert, Jim Jordan who fail the Bar Exam 3 times, NEVER BECOMING a lawyer. Matt Gaetz, transporting underage girls across state lines for sex, paying then $3000/night & then proudly parading around the floor of Congress showing pictures of the girls. All available on video online. Wake up GOP, we deserve better.

Maybe it could be not why they support ttrump but what has ttrump promised them. Since ttrump has never needed religion for his dealings EVER, evangelicals said they would support ttrump as a religious,(😂😂😂🤮) man for their own interests, religious or not. They probably already knew ttrump didn’t have a religious bone in his body. Ttrump needs the votes evangelicals provide. Even going as far as calling him the Messiah, God, praying to cardboard cutouts of him, the golden statue that was made for him, (someone made), the chosen one and saying God told them God ordained him to be president. So, what is their prize ttrump will give them in return? Knowing, ttrump never does what he says he will do, he always does what he wants to do and has never paid any consequences for not keeping his word. The religious cult embracing Donald Trump is extremely disturbing. But, I think what's even more Insidious to me, are the actions of people like Mike johnson. Both are equally horrible, don't get me wrong & Donald Trump is a serious threat; but the Mike Johnson of it all gives me chills. He presents as almost palatable, when what he really wants to do is get rid of gay marriage, & punish people who have gay or premarital sex. He's a part of the Evangelical reconstruction wing of Christianity in america, and they believe that the constitution was a bad idea because we should literally be a theocracy. Those pussy dehumidifiers, whos mommies told them they were the best far too much to be healthy, scare me more than anyone.

What about calling Santos something like a "Catastrophe Carpet Bagger"? Meaning; a politician or politically involved person who uses any and all catastrophes/tragedies/traumatic events to give themselves local credibility and authority on an issue where they have none. I think this fits Santos because anything that he could use to "enhance" his identity for political gain, he did. 9/11, Pulse Night Club, the Holocaust...any tragedy that resonates with people on a deeply personal level he tried to leverage to give himself credibility on an issue. Why lie about his connections to 9/11? He's not local and needs to build credibility with the community he wanted(?) to represent. Why lie about personal connections to Pulse Night Club? Gives him some credibility with a gay community unfamiliar with himself and gives him credibility to talk about gun regulation because it makes it seem like he was personally connected to the issue. Why lie about the Holocaust? Same thing; to gain credibility on an issue where he has none.

I know none of us are psychiatrists, but I'm throwing this out there. I think Santos has multiple personalities and he really doesn't know what some of them do or say. He may have had some horrrible childhood trauma. I know it sounds like I'm making an excuse for him, but he seems very mentally ill to me. He fascinates me, but at the same time I worry that I am laughing at an illness.
