My grandfather was so excited about the Bibles going into the schools in Oklahoma. As soon as he saw me yesterday he couldn’t wait to tell me how wonderful he thinks it is and what a good thing this will be to introduce kids to Jesus because parents are failing to do it. I stood there, probably with my face giving away how annoyed I was and just waited for him to stop fanboying. Hate to tell him I haven’t taken my kids to church since their baptism. I live in western PA surrounded by Trump voters with a nearly entire Trump supporting family. It’s so freaking hard to deal with their shit. There's a reason for separation of church and state. Our nation was founded on these freedoms as well as many others. We've forgotten the lessons of history and what they tought us. In the Uk our health service is free for everyone. But the American experiment is crazy. My husband spent 19 hours in hospital in Yellowstone 9 years ago. Fortunately he needed no treatment. His suspected condition was actually benign. It cost $15,000 ! ( this included$2,400 for the45minute ambulance) no wonder some American have little faith in their system. Keep up the great works girls!
