Glad I could help! I hate taking a speed light with me for a few shots. I think this is where I'm going to use it to most. That and quick product shots when I'm making You Tube episodes. I love that it fits in my back picket while I work! Very useful light.

Nice review Kevin, so I bought one for video work ,but it really could do with a diffuser when using as a key light. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

I'm not aware of a diffuser that could be put on the light itself. If it were to be used in such a way that the light is off camera, a shoot through diffuser could be put in front of it. If you are indoors, your lens is fast enough, you can kick your ISO up and you have bright white walls, you could possibly use it like a bounce flash (while attached to the camera) and use the walls and ceiling as soft / diffused light.

The word "polymer" on the back is in reference to the battery chemistry. It uses a lithium-polymer battery. :P

I noticed that almost all the reviews they were all given two units to me I don't think that's a fair thing because the average person is going to buy one unit and base the review on one unit. The fact that it is so bright and needs a diffuser that's another issue other than that it seems okay but very overpriced seems like when Amazon it's about the same price now as it was when it came out. To me that just seems fishy that they sent ALL positive reviewers two lights. Now come on man if that doesn't scream something is wrong here especially with how bright it gets why would you need two.. is that the bait.. one is okay but if you really want to get a good result you buy two.

I can't comment on any other videos for this light, because I haven't watched them. I'm only using one light through the majority of the video. Then there's a moment where I show what two lights looks like. So my review shows what both one and two lights look like together, which allows the user to decide how many they need. Because of the laws of physics, all small light sources where the desired outcome is softness need diffusion because small light is harsh. So if you want to soften anything, you need to diffuse it. I didn't "need" two. I was sent two. Then I decided to use one through most the video. Thanks for stopping by.

@KevinDeal Thanks for replying Kevin I do appreciate it. It's just odd that they sent all reviewers two. Even though you didn't promote both a lot of the other ones did and I felt like it was misleading not on your part. I only commented on yours because yours was the last video I saw and before I purchased I was like something is odd here why are all reviews getting two lights if one is okay? I don't mind two if one's going to be for the background.. they aren't super expensive the more expensive one I'm not sure if you've seen it yet but it's been around for years I believe Boling bl-P1.. from what it seems like that still is going to need to diffuser here also but it's never mentioned in people's reviews. People are saying that it's the best hands down but again is someone better off with two of the ones you reviewed for about the same price or are all of these things going to need diffusers and what do they usually cost I mean what is your recommendation? Again I truly appreciate your dedicated reply! Show to the true reviewers and people who take at least their subscribers seriously! Thank you again!
