Reporter: Maestro, it is nice to see You once again in Zagreb - not so long ago You visited Lisinski. Audiance can notice that You can preform in Carnegie Hall, concert hall Lisinski but special place are these sacral - religious objects. Ivo: Croatia is one of those countries thanks to it's cultural and religious tradition has the posibilities and a privilage to use these kind of spaces ( of course with the permission of religion authorityes ) - beautiful spaces of witch is this one. This is the one that amazes me with its harmony and propotions. While You sit it appears like behind You is a large and invisible sphere around this building was build. Apsolute perfect harmony of width and lenght opposed to it's height. And if You hear my voice correctly it doesent echo and I presume that tonight's sound will not be troublesome but quite the opposite. Therefore I am very pleased to be here for the first time while everone else are on the coast and for the contrast we are here on continent - in Zagreb. Reporter: I presume it's not negligible reason of this esteemed festival „Orgulje Heferer” that has it's tradition here in Zagreb and in some way You give contribution with this concert to this festival. Ivo: Live long enough and one can percive longevity of a friendship. It is very nice to be appreciated but even more important is to be supported by one. I am trying to highlight it. Reporter: In tonights recital You bring to us Schubert and Chopin. I can remember last year concert and the splendid Chopin and by all meaning a unique Preludium. It is especially important You say : „Spiritual messages of those composers” that You wish transmit to the audiance. Ivo: Yes, tomorrow's concert from a professional point, are needed to me becouse i prepare to documnet a part of it. This is one step of keepeng continuity, my personal development and collecting experiences that precede - of so called - recording. Reporter: What are those compositions? Ivo: How we say it - first You jump and then say hoop - I am not reaveling that data. Reporter: And for the end please let me notice - You are wearing a cross necklace. We touched upon spiritual messages and composers in the recital. Your wish is to deliver them to the audiance. Faith or religion can be an intimate thing. What does it mean to You and have You turn to the spiritual even more during this pandemic? Ivo: It is more abouth the authors than me personal. Of course we see in Schubert and Chopin music recognisable corals and the spiritual aspect is clear in all those compositions. Especially authors that presented their own feelings to music. Schubert opened one gate then Chopin opened another door. I think it's important to percive and to feel that particular element. For me it is a perfect opportunity regarding space we're in.
