I'm so glad to hear this song again. I was eight years old when it played on the car radio and my Daddy sang along with it. Just listening to it takes me back to a lovely, warm fall day in 1959. Music is like that.

tomorrow, tomorrow happiness smiles upon us again yesterday, yesterday lies already so far behind was it though, a nice, nice time.. tomorrow, tomorrow, we will be there again yesterday, yesterday has no meaning today, even though it was a nice, nice time, are we today poor and small, are we today also without sunshine..

I am not usually a sensitive person, For as many years as from wanting to hear that song Morgan (Morgen) once again. To read through comments it was being in twilight zone to see how many others were effected by the sone Morgan at a early age. It wasn't until 1:48 PM on Thursday 10/24/2019 that I went to you tube and just wrote the name and got nothing. The I wrote the song Morgan and then I felt to be a teen hearing it on the radio and it stuck with me. I will say it brought tears to my eyes. Wow what a great song.

Fantastic video. I always found it amazing that a ballad in a language other than English could penetrate the R 'n R charts here in the U.S. I was 12 when Morgan was playing here, and I loved it then. Still do! There's a cool '60 Chevy or Pontiac in the background of the vid, - Ivo had good taste in cars!

My Mother had this on a 45 and I loved to listen to it even though I didn't understand one word of it, I was six or so. She gave the 45 to my brother years ago and I haven't heard it since . Tonight I just wanted to hear it again and found this, it was just as moving as when I was a child. Thank goodness for the internet.

That's exactly the same story I have. The song was one of a big stack of 45's that we used to play on the stereo when we were kids. And I'm not sure if the record still exists or if it was lost in the flood of 2011. So glad it's out here on KZbin!

My two cents. I had this record back in 1958 but thought it was sung the Kingston Trio? Every once in a while I thought of it and then, three years ago, a cousin of mine died. His daughter's name is Morgan and I began thinking that he named her because of this record even though this name is Morgen. For the last three years I searched on and off but never got a result because I spelled it Morgan. Two days ago I googled it and someone had it posted there that they too have been looking for this for years. The person who replied gave the answer and also an American version sung by Leslie Uggams with the name of One More Sunrise. Anyway, in the last two days I must have watched those beautiful girls in the white gowns dancing around Ivo as he sings. I have not seen anything so beautiful lately. Till this day, I can see the record label with the name but I still see it as Morgan even though it isn't. My cousin's daughter is not sure why she has that name but she thinks the song is beautiful as my cousin was half German and Czech. I am half Polish and half Czech-Slovak. P.S. She knows what it means because she took German in high school.
