Athu antha 1.6 drive panni pakkaano, Aana ore oru doubt tha ethunala intha car failure aachu, Swift edukkaravanga ethunala itha option la kuda pakkala... I am having S cross 1.6 Alph. Its a high way king. No driving tired ness, no pillion seat tiredness. Sad that Maruti has stopped. Its gives average mileage 20 kms per litre at a high speed of 120 to 140.

I have 1.3 diesel. In Bangalore highway its going 170 kmph easily. Without wobbling. Innova, creta and other bigger cars lose the race when they try. Im a safe driver. I dont drive fast in dangerous roads. Only on fully visible safe roads. I love racing. S-Cross is Awesome for racing. I don't know how a 1.3 ltr diesel engine is performing this much.

Main reason for Reduced sales: 1) They moved this to Nexa and 3-4 years back the Nexa was available only at few places 2) Engine Performance - 1.3l for a big size cross over felt underpowered 😅.. There is also a 1.6l S Cross but it's very rare to find.. If maruti gave 1.6l diesel engine then s cross would have sold like a piece of cake ❤ 3) People moved to SUV over cross overs since cross overs are nothing but a bigger hatchback

People didn't buy that 1.6 multijet because milage and price, moreover at that time people were afraid to buy a costly Maruti but this is a only quality vehicle from Maruti during that time. Even sx4 was good build but failed .

Maruti Suzuki have launched its next generation SCross is another name. That is Grand Vitara. Grand Vitara is the same vehicle which was in sale around the globe as SCross. But previous gen SCross is really a value for money car. You can able to get and mid size SUV for the price of compact SUV.

Hi Tiruppur Mohan Anna, I have bought 2016 model S-cross Zeta in Jan 2017 and i have drove around 170,000 kms as of now. The car cost was around 11 Lacs for me with accessories like mat and seat cover. i have travelled continuous 1000 kms in a day in this car with 5 members including driver. Its a very pratical car. I have tried Ford Eco-sport, Baleno 2016,i-20 and Honda Jazz before driving this car. I went to test drive this car after comparing i-20 and jazz price since they are almost equal to this car. They are just 50,000 Rs. less than this car at that time. I was having i-10 magna before buying this car. This car gave me same drive feeling like driving i-10 a small car. i am a 6 feet tall guy. To my surprise, the car has complete options which i have expected. Only one thing was there during buying that there was a old model alloy wheel and then i have asked for spider alloy wheel replacement. They gave me the car with spider alloy wheel. Its a budget friendly car. No big expense incurred till now. Its a good car for normal terrain. I agree this car have lapses in hill areas, 3rd gear pick ups which are adjustable for driving in highways and in cities. After driving my car for some long distance, 3 of my friends have bought s-cross in 2018-2020 period. The car served it purpose. I am driving the S-cross for almost 7 years without any major problems. Its a reliable car out of maruti suzuki cars. Greetings and Thanks for your review. Thennarasu Mani

I have Scross 1.3 DDIS 2017 10.51 lac on road Zeta Brown and Kia Carnival 2023 March both are gem only a proper car enthusiast will know how both these cars are gems sold in India, but people expecting sporty looks made these cars to be sold less hence discontinued, exactly people don't like good products. Many fools said 1.3 Scross is under powered with half baked knowledge still I did a test drive and bought this car and loved the space inside, features, comfort and very cheap maintenance cost, in city I got 17 and highways I get 24 kmpl after changing soft compound Tyre getting 13 in city and 22 in highway. I use Scross for city and carnival for Highway when going with family, but if I go alone for long personal trips Scross gives the most comfortable experience with its stability the best speed for this car is 100 to 120 kmph speeds where as my Carnival feels comfortable between 80 to 100 kmph which will tell you how stable I feel while driving the Scross. Only downside is diesel engine roar will be audible at 130+ speeds.

My reasons for not choosing this car was 1st it was in nexa showroom and projected as premium car and premium service cost. 2nd was it's length 4.3 metre and it took more parking space. 3rd was in the premium price that time back in 2016 1.3 litre mid variant cost around 14 lakhs and 1.6 litre cost around 16 lakhs, But brezza zdi plus was around 11.8 lakhs.

i think looks, many people like butch high stance csuv but not the cross-over look. Very sad Brezza succeed but not S-Cross. One and only well built car from Maruti stable.
