It’s a lot easier to part when the hair is slightly damp when still in its natural state. It doesn’t have to be soaking, but spray bottle works perfect. The hair was probably still a little dry when you started parting. I love that more creators are working with type 3 and 4 hair models. It’s so satisfying to watch. Also, adding a little oil in your hands can help reduce frizz or tangles while manipulating the hair.

When doing coily hair always remember you have to feed the flower in order for it to grow and still be pretty.Our hair needs water and moisture in order to not be damaged and be pretty and easier to manage. (Just a little too❤)

Got the twerl right with the pencil. Just needed some holding jell on the hair before twisting. Ivy is so creative, versatile, and patient, and I enjoy watching her claiming videos.
