IWC Pilot's Chronograph 41 - My favorite IWC Watch

IWC is a highly respected watch brand in the business. But for whatever reasons, they don't seem to do as much marketing as some of the other brands. And maybe, by extension, that's why I don't seem to see as many reviews. But the Pilot Chrono 41 is really a fantastic watch; and in my opinion, this model is one of the best chronographs out there!

I have to respectfully disagree. Between their extremely active presence on social media, working w/ stylists to place watches on the wrists of red carpet celebrities, their ties to Formula 1, and their outsized presence at trade shows like Watches & Wonders, IWC is kind of hard to avoid these days. I love the brand, so I am not complaining, but I do find it surprising that your perception is that they’ve retreated from marketing.

Wow, think you are the only person to review this watch on youtube, for me its the best looking chrono in general, i own a mark 18 which i love but want to add another iwc to the collection and i think this is it.

As an alternative, you could also opt for the PILOT'S WATCH CHRONOGRAPH SPITFIRE - IW387901. Otherwise, at 39 mm it is a bit smaller and has an even cooler past, if there were still the Hanhart ES 417.

Love it but only 1 drawback is the thickness, breitling navitimer chronograph has the same case size but less thicker

Hi mate, just some suggestions for future watch reviews. The close up macro shots that only show a portion of the watch aren't really that helpful or appealing (especially on these mass produced luxury watches where the finishing is not especially intricate), what I think watch fans want to see more is the watch in 'perspective' i.e. on a wrist from about the first person point of view distance (as if you were looking down at your own wrist). More of these sorts of shots help bring real life perspective to the watch and make for a more appealing video experience. Finally, a fairly large portion of this video is the camera focussed on your face and not even the watch. Having a mixture is good but there's a little too much face-time here (no offence), remember we're here to see the watch not a close up of somebody's face talking about the watch! of course this is just my opinion as someone who watches a lot of watch content. Feel free to ignore / dismiss but otherwise good job on the video, cheers!

Hi, thanks a lot for the very konstruktive feedback. Really appreciate it and I do agree on some of the points you've raised. I'll keep it in mind for further videos. Do you by any chance have a video or a creator you think that does it great? My intention is to give a good understanding of how the watch feels and wears on the wrist so for me the feedback is very valuable and I just want to make sure to fully understand what you mean. Iwc have two chrono variants one 41 the other is 43 which is better

I thought this was your fav IWC watch. But then at the end of the video you say that you need to find a fav IWC which you would want to add to your personal collection. So which one is it? Are you lying in the title?
