wintrading doesn't work with only 2 people. your mmr would need to be higher. 3 or more people solo q and hope to get in the same game. the game with 2 on the same team gets the win. therefore the wintraders gain 30-40 lp while the other one looses 15-20. 33% chance to loose LP and 66% chance to win

Morellos is very core for most mages right now. Flat magic pen, hp and ap, along with grievous wounds. Just all around great item, most mages build it like 2nd or 3rd right now. Liandry's is run on very few champions right now. Mostly only champions with a lot of cc or DoT affects, such as teemo or malzahar.
