This has been how the majority of his games have been this split, he's legit doing nothing, he's never in a good position and never there to follow up engages. I remember that Cait game where Bo got the great play on Baron pit that he eventually cleaned up by E'ing over the wall, but if you watch the fight, Upset legit walks back and forth for a solid 15 seconds which was all time he could have just joined the fight and won it easily.

⁠something that's pretty consistent throughout Upsets career is that he is very lane dominant and wants to push his lead from early levels. That requires very good landing from support and him. The reason him and Hilly were considered the best bot in the west was because they worked out every laming situation in every matchup and knew exactly what to do. He didn't have that with Kaiser nor with Targamas. He also plays very different depending on his trust in his teammates. On Fnatic you would see him flash into teamfights when he saw his moments and go absolutely ham. Same in his first few games on VIT but the more his believe in the team eroded, the more passive and cautious his play became. I can definitely see how one could fault him for that but on the other hand I can sort of see why he defaults to playing like that as an ADC. His eye for windows was one of the best in past years. He knew exactly when certain abilities were down and he trusted his team to block others. He propably stills sees those moments but if he can't be sure that his team will peel correctly he can't take full advantage. I mean Fnatic in 22 was pretty disfunctional but he still carried the hell out of that team because in the end they were good enough players that they knew how to enable him. I just wonder how him and Bo would function if he was reunited with Hilly again and vice versa.

Perkz and Bo were the best mid/jungle in the league at points in winter and spring, Photon won pretty much every lane and Upset/Hilly are an insane botlane and I bet Hilly would be right back to form if he was on that team. Just add a coach that can actually draft for his players like Yamato and you win the LEC.

They have an eye for windows others don't see and with a mid that can at least go even and follow them on the map they would be unbeatable in LEC I think. For AD either Upset or Carzzy would be great. I'd go according to who they want to play with and who is likely to gel with both of them. For mid I could imagine Nisqi, Humanoid, maaaaaybe Larsson (he doesn't seem to have the same 'let's just go' mentality but he is super stable wich could be a nice counter balance. You'd probably go Nisqi/Upset or Larsson/Carzzy. Top at this point is pretty much an afterthought. You go Irrelevant for bang for buck, Bwipo for Synergie and Flexibility, Wunder for Stability (tho he is probably happy to be in Heretics for now), Alphari or Photon for dominance/carry potential or whoever is available that can play a stable lane and team fight or scirmish reasonably well around Bo and Hilly.

On a serious note if KC can't win with saken playing pretty good I don't think they can win a game. Upset looks like he did at the end of the vitality period like he has just no trust in any of his teammates and his gameplay reflects that. Bo just seems completely on a different page, cabo sucks, and targamas looks dreadful. On another note I must say clearly the g2 staff must have done great work to get targamas to perform that well under pressure whilst he was with them.

Except KC was a functional team before Bo and Upset, even if it's unclear if they were at LEC level or not. Every team Upset has been on in the past 3 years turns into this. It is much better for KC to keep Targamas and I hope they do so, even if they won't be a world championship team. I remember watching this game live and throwing up in my mouth a little every time Cabo pressed R... The fact that they were in this game at all just shows how insane Bo is. The way Targa sold him in that fight were they chunked Photon and Maokai ulted from midlane into the river was just disgusting.. No wonder he looks like that after the game. Props to Saken tho, he had his first solid game in LEC. KC does have the cash so maybe they just needed this split to see that their ERL players can't hold their own in LEC and upgrade at least top and supp in spring. Imagine what Bo could do with Bwipo and Hilly or Trymbi plus maybe Nisqi or even Humanoid. People that can actually play a lane and give him some breathing room and know how to close out a game.

I would predict them to go 0:9 and maybe in winter they drop some money and get Bo an actual team. I feel sorry for him and Yamato right now. To an extend also for Upset because we know how much potential he has but right now he seems to just silently quit certainly isn't a good thing.

One of the main conclusion from this game is both Hilly and Targa should be jailed in game (not in game) for their plays. I just can't describe how disgusting they were. If the gap between West and East solo laners is a crater then the gap between supports is a fucking Mariana Trench. They both were competing for who will int the game harder. And he doesnt want to take the fall for someone specific. And personally i think its bo.... Because have you noticed how at the end. Targamas goes in and it would have been the winning fight. But it took the rest ages to go in...? because Bo waited for targamas to die then engaged into the tree ult rather than engage WITH targamas?? Before that the thing at baron where targams literally jebaited bo into eating the ult?

Personally i dont think Saken is the issue this game being a fair example of him being fairly solid. Targamas though in my eyes didnt even look truly convincing in as G2's support where he had the best available pieces around him. Any team besides G2 he has looked downright lost or clearly not up to par, even if you look at the player cams he looks like he doesnt even want to be there.

This team has a lot of issues, but the fact that Targamas has a job while Trymbi is literally unsigned and available is completely criminal. Like just sack the split and bench this guy at this point. The level of supports in LEC is already low and yet this is by far the worst feeding I’ve ever seen.

Yamato be that one guy in the army who got the flawless tactics but his soldiers have the mental strength capacity of a 15 year old girl after her boyfriend didnt text her for 10 minutes. Jokes aside i do think that the stigma although not true imo has gotten into the players heads a little bit.
