From what Vladmir S says below, sounds like to convert 5.56 X95 from right to left hand need a left hand bolt and a barrel wrench. Presenter did a good job demonstrating (in some instances camera closeups would have been helpful) but either presenter or notes should have mentioned that different calibers have different requirements to make conversion. Shame conversion is not as simple as it is on the Tavor 7.

@@TheTREVOR62 The mag release and many other features are lefty friendly, so it's only right the ejection can be swapped, albeit with a little elbow grease. Found a model at my local gun shop in Florida for about $2100. Considering the bullpup design, three current shortage of guns and ammo, myriad of features, flip up iron sights by default, and incredible modularity options, it's certainly a fair bargain. Another top notch product from IWI.

So I'm pretty disappointed with IWI at the moment. To convert your 5.56 x95 to left handed, you have to mail your rifle to IWI and have them do it. I've emailed them three times now with no reply. Had I known this beforehand, I probably would not have purchased it.

Update: everything is the same but you need to get a new bolt for lefthand and barrel wrench. I spent additional 350 CAD on parts and 40CAD to make sure that gun is safe. Now it's a pure joy to shoot without getting hot brass in the face

Is the same for the .300 blk? and where do you buy the parts?

I sure would like to know how to shoot my right handed X95 from my left shoulder without getting hot brass shot into my face with... What does my manual say again? "Considerable force." I think is what it says. I'm sure I could figure out the technique quickly, but It'd be nice to see a video about it rather than work trial and error. The X95 is a wonderful rifle, and I'm very happy with it.

Can it just be converted with the left handed bolt and switching the side plate? I broke the Allen key trying to get the barrel lock off to switch charging handle and dust plate...

Really wish they actually had tolerances the 556 so all that was needed a new bolt for a lefty conversion. I mean if you cant trust the bolt you made, to fit a rifle you made due to a possibility of a headspace issue thats sad. Meanwhile. Every other modern production gun (aside from ak's) bolts are drop in. even across manufacturers.

As a new X95 owner and a lefty, as much as I would love to have my rifle converted for left hand shooting. I feel everyone should just adapt to shooting right handed. It just saves a lot of headache, since unfortunately majority of firearms are setup for right handed shooters. Even if it feel more natural to manipulate & shoot left handed.

I wouldn't convert it purely for the comfort of shooting. Having a bullpup converted to left hand also prevents anyone from using it without my permission in an SHTF situation. In any other situation I can shoot right-handed pretty decently.

Lol...they offer the rifle in Left Hand Configuration for the same price as the Right Hand. The one I bought brand new has only been a lefty.
