@@Meese12 i have done many of these and maintaining energy is usually a pain, you spend like 30-40 seconds just bullying the last mob on floor to make sure everyone are full energy for next floor. I am more or less sure he would never do this on floor 12-3-2 because wolflord is terrible for collecting energy, and the floor 12-3-2 is obnoxious aswell

Yeah, I'm just ignoring the runs where Ayaka and Yelan were used as "supports", when they did half the damage. I'm sorry, but Hu Tao Ayaka is not a normal team comp. Sure, it's great for nuking bosses for 10 seconds. But after that, Hu Tao does no damage without any constant Hydro or Cryo application. Everyone and their mother are playing Hu Tao with Xingqiu/Yelan or both. We're supposed to rate actual meta teams and see how they do against each other, not borrow broken characters like Ayaka and Yelan and then praise a different character from the team as the reason the team did so well, when it's not true at all

Which means her 11 second clear time could be less if she's switched out early. Since boss's max hp is 1.6M and Eula's burst just need to do like 1.4M or so since rest is done by her hold E.

It was the same with hutao tbh, this boss is really annoying for pyro dps so having ayaka there helps even tho she did like half the dmg for both of them, that and im pretty sure that kaeya on the first showdow was butchered to hell and back, mine can deal 22k per hit and 50k when it melts and im f2p so it kinda hurt my eyes to see him doing noodle dmg by a whale

This Abyss is the first time I've regretted not getting Kokomi for, as the second half of the 12-3 is pure nightmare fuel. Never in my Genshin career I struggled so hard trying to finish it. But in the end, I only managed to get 33 stars lol

I'm F2p AR 57 and did it with barbruh, xiangling, kazuha and nahida, I had to 3 star the 2nd chamber first with a different team then restart with this team since it was impossible to do the 2nd chamber without geo for me Edit: I finally built 2 teams that can clear the abyss without changing teams (note that I didn’t make any pulls since, I just farmed gilded dreams set for raiden) 1st half:xingqiu,xiangling,bennet,kazuha 2nd half: nahida,barbara,raiden,zhongli I used full EM gilded dreams set +dragons bane on raiden. Hyperbloom is broken, I cleared it with low-mid difficulty

Ayaka, Hutao, Ganyu, Raiden again expectedly doing well still. Then got really impressed of Wanderer here he is the only one with only 4star supports here. Lastly, got disappointed Ayato didn't really shine here or should I say not given a chance to show-off I believe Ayato can all do well without Yelan 😅😅😅

I don't get what's so hard to decide lol. Is Yelan the main DPS of the team? Use all she has. Is Yelan the support in the team? Use her E and Q. Same goes for Ayaka, if she's main DPS, use everything. Otherwise, just clicking her Burst button already invalidates any test. Not only is she doing half the boss HP, she also reduces defense further boosting Hu Tao or Diluc's damage. Without Ayaka, Hu Tao would be way lower and we already saw how low Diluc was without her. Never use main DPS skills on your supports, it's that simple, not rocket science, otherwise the main DPS role shifts from the one showcased to the "support"

@@Gennosuke1983Problem with your logic is, Yelan E and Q still makes her an “off field damage dealer”, chipping away 25-40% of boss health by herself. Same with other teams shown here (Ayaka/Hu Tao, Nahida/Yae, Childe/Xiangling, etc.). It’s bad to think of assigning “roles” to your characters in a team, realistically only hypercarry teams have a clear distinction of “roles”.

@@lehang5840 There's no problem with my logic. That's how Yelan works, she's an off field support DPS. Same as Xingqiu, same as Xiangling. Are you supposed to not use them at all? Of course you should use their E and Q. The issue is when the support does equal or MORE damage than the main DPS and you still call it a Diluc showcase or Kokomi showcase, when they barely tickle the enemy and Yelan or Ayaka did all the work. Also, why doesn't he add Yelan and Ayaka to all teams? I can guarantee you that Xiao would do a lot better if you randomly add Ayaka's burst there, Keqing would do better, even Raiden hypercarry would be stronger if Yelan or Ayaka would replace Sara. I'm 100% sure, she would gain 3 seconds at least, because boss with be 50% dead and then Raiden would just finish the job with her slash. Why bend the rules only for some teams like Hu Tao, Diluc, Kokomi while keeping the other teams classic meta? Who in their right mind would play Diluc with Ayaka?

@@Gennosuke1983 See, this is why “main dps” and “support” are bad terms for how vague they are. For instance, why using Ayaka burst with Diluc and not with Xiao? Because while Ayaka provides great damage, her C4 allows Diluc to melt with his high multipliers and fast attack speed through cons, in contrast to Xiao, who benefits nothing more than Ayaka def reduction, which can end up falling behind Diluc with the same team due to much less synergy. Also, remind you that this is a speed run showcase for the funsies, you would expect not so meta teams “competing” with each other.

Wanderer is definitely another f2p team. I use Wanderer c0, Faruzan c0, Bennett c0 and Xingqiu c1 (all 4 stars) and I do the abyss decently well! You can say that the harbingers are definitely the most f2p friendly units in the game.

Kazuha C0 < C6 sucrose, mind you Kazuha is 5* limited whereas Sucrose is mere 4*. What he used is C6 kazuha

Kazuha provides the same buff performance as Sucrose while having better personal damage and being one of if not the best overworld character in the game so he doesn't end up being only useful in abyss, unless you need an anemo driver (in which case maybe Heizou might actually be more well suited) I don't see a situation where sucrose overcomes Kazuha even at C0 and he is considerably better at elemental damage buffing which is a very flexible and useful thing to do

Yoimiya fell victim to Mhy being afraid of powercreep to the point of gimping all aspects of her kit. She's the best at nothing, not even single target dps which is her biggest limitation. When an AOE character can outdamage a single target character ON A SINGLE target, you know balance is fked. Why did they make her burst so damn bad? One look at Hu Tao and you will know life aint fair.

Honestly, Keqing's time is impressive not only because of the dendro resistance that hurts Nahida's sub-DPS capabilities, but also because Keqing's constellations are so much worse than most of the other 5-stars. I think another thing to note about Wanderer’s clear time is that his team, compared not only to the other SS tiers but to all the teams in general, is far less reliant on 5* constellations. For his team, the only c6 you need is his own (yes the four stars likely have r5 limited weapons such as elegy, but that is consistent throughout all runs so I will not be counting this fact). I would honestly say that Wanderer’s c6 is the most attainable “low spender” team if we assume you only want to whale for one c6.

Iirc, you'll have to manually switch Itto for burst because it can full snapshot all the buffs. Using the shortcut key ctrl + "party number" misses the snapshot of all def buff

I genuinely believe that putting fischl in keqing’s run would be better since Sara only have a 6 second uptime, even though it is a speed run, it wasn’t fast enough for sara’s buff to last the whole fight. Asides from that fischl is also very strong in aggravate teams.

He still used it, but also showed the time without it. However, using Ayaka with Diluc and Hu Tao also invalidates the entire test, since she does 50% of damage + shreds defense, so effectively she is responsible for 60%+ damage, which makes her the main DPS, no longer Diluc or Hu Tao

@@rocketcider7761 She didn't do 3/4 because the defense shred helped her get that nuke, plus when Hu Tao's burst hits the boss is at half HP already, you can clearly see it. Also, if she's so good without Ayaka, then why not use Hu Tao with her normal team? Let's see what time she gets then. Also, adding Yelan or Ayaka to ANY other team would improve their times. For example, you could replace Sara in Raiden's hyper carry with Yelan or Ayaka, you will get a faster time, because Raiden alone can do half the nuke but she struggles to do the rest of the damage during her Burst. But the boss will be half dead from Ayaka+Bennett in the first 3 seconds and then Raiden will just finish the job. Why not use Yelan or Ayaka with Xiao, why struggle with him jumping around and get 20 second time, when others can do the DPS? Because it would be dumb, that's why. I hope I got my point across. Some teams like Raiden hyper carry or Childe International are kept in their meta format, while other teams are tailored made for this challenge, even if nobody plays Hu Tao Ayaka anywhere. The test is not relevant

The amount of teams IWTL would have to go through would take way too much time, especially since he has to get to floor 12-3 every time. Most of these test don't even matter since the player base doesn't have a 100k usd account. These really only show what a character can do with a 10k usd team full of C6R5s. Though I wish more teams were tested, but again it takes a lot of time to put something like this together.

@@jakeeller On top of things other people pointed (his NA and CA have separate ICD), his riptides have no effective ICD (its lower than 0.7 riptide cd) which is abnormal(fastest applyer fastest rxn) He outdps ayato in international even though ayato does wayy more dmg He even outperforms kokomi in quick bloom/bloom/hyperbloom team as he can produce more dendro cores but with no healing it's suicidal team. Tldr he will outperform any unit in rxn speed till the end of genshin.

T-T stop using yelan’s c6 please, we get that the run will be slower but the point is to showcase the characters’ DPS capabilities, not have other “supports” deal more than 50% of the DMG. Especially with yelan-in one of your Diluc showcases you almost exclusively used Yelan with Diluc just to finish the small remaining bit of health because it’d be faster, but that doesn’t actually show us how strong Diluc is. I want to know how strong my mains are at high potential (good artifacts, etc., not how strong other meta characters are

its because it takes time to build up Eula's stacks to maximum(backloaded damage) while others do frontloaded damage. most players would prefer Ayaka since she does insane burst damage. and with Shenhe, you'll have 2 types of burst. kudos to Eula though. Actually, i am more surprised with Wanderer's clear and Yae's Clear time.

@@lsnexus2080 it's not the back loaded nature of her burst, it's because she doesn't have the buffs that allow her to keep the dps going after her burst. Eula has the scaling to do 100k/second with her normal attacks if she had the right support to buff her up, Ayaka with shenhe and kazuha can hit 90k/second, Eula with her current support options barely hits 35k/ second, and it's only because lack of good buffing support. The back loaded burst allows you to do things with Eula that are not possible with other characters, I don't see it as a con, just a different way to do damage that can be taken advantage of.

I know she has very powerful double hydro team (yelan/xingqiu/xiangling) but I would rather play her as the solo hypercarry with personal supports and a solid set that works fully with her kit. Like cmon, we have gorou/faruzan/sara/shenhe for other elements and bennett/yunjin/kazuha as universal units to use. Hu tao only cares about kazuha/sucrose and she cannot even use them without bringing other suboptimal pyro user.
