Is this stamping a code on the crimp and cut ? Must be due to the locator sensor. When I worked at a cosmetic factory ( 46 1/2 yrs ) our lines were not dedicated like what I see here. We were quick change over magicians. A lot of these machines I’ve worked on but the robotics we were using weren’t as updated. We used the Nordens and Kalix’s topped with iron heads crimp, code and cut It is a beautiful sight when a line mechanic can stand back and observe this operation. Not much preventive maintenance can be done during operation due to the machine guards being on and the sensors or micro-switches shut the machine down if a door or guard are opened

Do we have any other option for pitch changing mechanisim for multiple pieces? changing pitch between two pieces is easy but not for 6 pieces i think.

Die Prägung des Mindesthaltsbarkeitsdatum erfolgt nach dem Füllen und beim Verschließen der Tube. In der Pressstation wird gleichzeitig das Datum geprägt.

I believe the code is stamped on when it’s being crimped just before the excess section of tube is cut off. At least on our Nordens that’s how it worked. I’ve been retired for one year away from this and I really miss the hustle and bustle. Hitting your hourly. and if it went down hustling to get it back up. I miss working on the labelers, lasers, Video Jet coders and Mateer-Burt powder fillers and the updated Neotron fillers. They were my big boy toys !
