I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall and the beginning of the European Union; it is when you traveled into those old parts of town in Czech that I saw and remembered the days of the 'Iron Curtain'. The contrast between then and now is striking. Oh and as always your driving skills shine most bright when you technical is the only method that will suffice. Nicely done darlin, nicely done.

Well I figured out, you must need a short truck, with the short wagon to make all those tight turns in, and through, and around all those little villages! It's kinda like FedEx is over here, except they have a separate tractor, then a short 30' ft. trailer, then a dolly, then the 2nd 30' ft. trailer at the rear! That's in case they have to drop one trailer at one warehouse, then go to another warehouse to unload the first trailer, or what they call doubles, or pups over here! Personally I've never pulled them! All my expertise has been with full length trailers! Of course I started out driving a short nose "conventional" Ford with a custom single size sleeper, and the size you have in your truck, but without all the storage on the sides, and it had a small size 318 Caterpillar engine, with a single axle rearend, and I was pulling mobilehomes! When I first started, the mobilehomes were like 14" ft. X 60" ft., then they progressively when up to 16" ft. - 18" ft. wide to 70", 80", and 90" ft. long, and the longer they got, the more axles they put underneath them, from 3 axles to 5 axles, and believe me, if you had a blowout on one of those itty bitty tires, you got maybe 2, 3, 4, or all 5 tires all on the same side, and you thought you had fun out there in the rain taking down, and putting back all those side rails, try changing 3, 4, or 5 tires all on one side on a mobilehome in the rain, especially with the water running down off the top of the house right down the back of your shirt, and if it's at least 50° F, or lower, that rainwater can get damn cold! But after about 2 years of fighting low hanging limbs, idiots on the road that won't give you an inch, to playing mailbox baseball! Now that was fun, because here you had a 14" to 16" wide house taking it down some narrow ass two lane highways with no shoulders, kinda like some of those highways you went down in this video, it didn't allow for very much room to hang the sides of the houses over without hitting something! And over here, a lot of the little 2 lane highways in the more rural areas, folks put their mailboxes out at the end of their driveways for the mailman, so he, or she doesn't have to get out of their little mailtrucks, because in the more rural areas, the postal workers are mostly to fat, and lazy to get out of their mail trucks! So that's when I decided to start pulling semi-trailers, and driving a bigger semi like what they have now over here! My first semi was an old '68 Mack cabover, like your truck, then I went to an '84 GMC cabover, to an '88 Freightliner cabover to an '86 Freightliner conventional, an '84 Peterbilt cabover, then I bought my Pete, with help from my dad, and together we paid $128,000 on a brand new '74 Peterbilt 379 extended hood conventional, with a 300' inch wheelbase, and a 120' inch custom studio/condo sleeper that had everything from a 600 hp Cat engine, a Super 10, 10 speed Eaton Fuller transmission! Now with a regular 10 sleed transmission, you have to shift the trans. 10 times, with using the clutch, or not using the clutch, which is what's called, "floating" the gears! You start out from 1st., or 2nd dear using the clutch, but when it would come time to shift again, all you do is let up off the gas pedal when the rpms got to about 1700 rpms, shift to the next gear, and step on the gas pedal again, and so on, until you shifted through all 10 gears, but with a Super10, it's kinda like shifting a 13, 15, or an 18 speed transmission! Once you go through the bottom 4 gears, which usually most drivers start out in 2nd gear, then it's just like floating the rest of the gears until you hit 10th gear, which actually acts like a 13 speed without all the extra shifting! Anyway, soon after I bought my '74 Pete, I was at a truckstop up in Las Vegas, Nevada (party town 24/7), where they were having a truckshow, and another driver suggested that I enter my truck in the contest! Well as it happened, I won , or my truck won 2nd place in the "best of show" category, which won me a year's supply of free fuel ⛽, and a year of free truck washes! Which over here, if you pull into any major truck wash facility while you're out on the road, especially with a 53' ft. trailer, it's going to cost you now, anywhere from $115 to $175! If you own your own truck! Well after winning 2nd place in that first show, I started adding more lights, what they call "chicken lights " over here! That's those little amber & red clearance lights you see all over trucks here in America, and also chrome! Tons of chrome everywhere! All over the truck, and the trailer! The lights, and all the chrome pieces made it all look shiny, and prettier for all us big bad truckdrivers! Over here in America, the bigger the ego, the more lights, and chrome you put on your truck! Anyway, I started following what they call the "Show Circuit" all around the US, and the more shows I entered, the more I won, or my truck won! I just collected the winnings!...😁 Anyway, I guess I've bored you enough with all my old school tales, so I'll close for now! Looks like we're in for a little rain! By the way, it made it up to 80° F today! It was quite nice! Anyway, take care, and stay safe out there, and I'm sorry I got onto you earlier! It's just that I care about you, and I guess it was the dad coming out in me again! So I'll see you around!...💖😘👍🙏🏼

Cześć Iwonka. Jestem już bardzo długo fanem Twoich filmików i mam tylko jedną prośbę - pytanie: Czy mogłabyś montując filmiki zgłośnić dialogi, a zciszyć wstawki muzyczne? Oglądając Twoje produkcje w TV dosłownie nie można wypuszczać pilota z ręki bo ciągle trzeba regulować głośność odbiornika. Trochę to denerwujące - szczególnie nocą sąsiadów za ścianą 😄. Będę Ci bardzo wdzięczny, jeśli uwzględnisz moją uwagę. Pozdrawiam Cię serdecznie i życzę bezgranicznej szerokości!
