How did you finish the 3rd level plutarch event before the timer ran out and your science ship dies?

I didn't have any issues with time, I had multiple science ships as by this point I was not doing much mining or resource collecting. Most Tiqqun can run off waste at this point, you may need ice if you are not using insect farms. With multiple science ships, it is easy to do multiple planets at the same time

If you choose 3rd option in Plutarch - entire team dies and ship is lost

Oh I see what you meant, this is a very strange one. I tested the 2nd option with 100 alloy, got science, in my previous test, I had the completeEventInstantly cheat on and it completed 3rd option with science. I just tested with cheat off and the third option kills the team. I turn the cheat on and try the 3rd option, again got science. I am not sure if this is a bug or just RNG. I tested multiple times with the 3rd option with Tiqqun in orbit but teams always gets killed. Assuming this is not a bug, the devs may have coded this as if event completed fast enough then we get science if not then team dies, so the instant completion yields science while normally the team is dead. This of course, is my assumption only, I tried to do the event as fast as possible but the team still dies so not sure exactly what the requirement is

@@GameXin the time of completion is bugged for thr third option, it says its 0.3 cycles, its not. I was able to preload a dock with alloys to decrease loading time to the shortest possible and start the event but it took seconds to finish even on the fastest setting. When you start the event a timer starts, if you take too long on any options your team dies, but the 3rd option should be completable because there are screenshots of people who's done it. The video is quite frankly lying about plutarch being standard as he obviously never used anything past the first and did a quick image search for the second and third.

@@jackd7032 Yea the only time I was able to complete the 3rd option in its current state is with cheats on that completes events instantly. I assumed it would work normally as well but I guess not lol If you are referring to my video, I did test these with cheat on(faster) which bypassed the low completion time bug. I test all options for each planet and wrote them down
