As INTP I don't idolize people in general. It's true tho that I have a kind of flash in the pan fascination for people that are not garbage-brain stupid :). Also, I help and I'm dedicated to people sharing similar perspective on life.

Processing the tribe is really hard. It is painful too. Goes from having full faith in people to having no faith in humanity, and it vascilates back and forth with no in between. It is just exhausting! And then the sense that you’re completely alone in the world with your weirdest self and ultimately invisible and powerless in the world as soon as that mob comes for you there is no way to fight, just run and hide lol… IxxP’s you know what I mean!

Learn how to find the balance and double decide. It should be like a constant tug of war in your head maintaining a relative balance. Consider what you want and what others want and practice this constantly. Make decisions where you can align both

I’m INFP and this is scary accurate. Once I find a tribe member I look up to I idolize them, because it’s so rare to find one who doesn’t suck XD and when I realize they suck like everyone else I feel personally attacked and betrayed. I don’t idolize people I know though, this only happens with tribe members I look up to but have never personally met (like famous artists and scientists)

The "surprise" and "excitement" as discussed with Jimmy is something you might not associate with DEMON state right away, but that is a really good thing to point to as an example of a demon state reaction. He is getting weirdly excited about a thing outside of his saviors that he actually likes! Example: Me getting weirdly excited about my particular NT interests like... um... this stuff. Example2: Dave and In and Out Burger :D

Oh my, this was pure gold. As an EP who is surrounded by IPs, you totally articulated a dynamic that has perplexed me. There’s a focus on one “amazing” person who to me resembles a lot of people. If I try to vibe with the IP by talking about overlapping similarities I see, they look real suspicious or just tune me out.

5:25 as an ISFP I literally did that with Philosophy. I looked at so many philosophical movements trying to find a someone I could relate to (someone else who wasn't a dumbass). @aljakobsson
@aljakobsson 3 жыл бұрын
@@anonymouslearner2454 It increases my self awareness. It helps me understand why I do it, and to be able to catch myself doing it, so I can decide whether or not I should be doing it. The alternative is that I just run my default program, possibly into oblivion. I'm still going to go ahead and do it 9 times out of 10, but on the off chance that I can stop myself now and then, that might improve my life by just that little bit. When you're all in on your saviors as an IxxP, you're basically getting high on your ability to set yourself apart from the tribe. When you take that to its logical end, it ends up with you being totally excluded from the tribe, which is a road to ruin. That's what I'm trying to avoid, and the reason why I use OPS.

IP confession, I've been over idolising Shan. 😳
@findingninno2
@findingninno2 3 жыл бұрын
I've noticed that Shan has been growing on me lately, especially as I've watched videos of her talking about her Fi. From my observations, I've found that it is extremely rare to hear lead masculine Te's talk about their emotions, so I find it very admirable when I hear them do so. Especially with the level of depth that I've heard Shan talk about her personal Fi. It is evident that she has found the guts to look within, and develop a conscious understanding of a part of her that other people of her type usually do not have the bravery to focus on and talk about.

They're trying to get their definitions based on data they have - not backwards. It's still your choice whether you want to use their system or not though.

It really isn't just about being recognised, everybody dies and then we fight over was that person of this nationality or that, was he good or bad etc. We use what has happened to our benefit, but not just to be recognised, sometimes just to survive and fight back or to live harmoniously/in the best way/happiest etc. It really isn't just about ourselves or others but some preconditions that shape our lives or building new systems that might lead us to better life...

🤔 3:28 this does not relate. I don't idolize anyone, and I don't care if my successes live beyond me. If we all are following 'programs' and I don't fit into what you think my program is, then your understanding of the IP program must therefore be wrong. Try again. (given how off you are about Ne, At least as relates to INTPs, suggests a fundamental base flaw) 5:19 now THIS is accurate. The works is full of dumbasses and I'm better off doing my own thing. 5:23 😂 5:33 maybe it's because I'm not a blaster? I don't need to write a book about someone. I'll follow them so I can consume their information, maybe share their Facebook posts once in awhile, bit I won't idoloze them or write a book about them and they don't take up my world. You make it seem like this is my 'story' or 'obsession'... But it just isn't.
