I found this interview difficult to watch. You should do a proper research on your guest before bringing them on your show. You made the mistake of asking him about both parents passing and you couldn't even apologize after he corrected you, then you made light of his pain instead of offering your condolences. That was very insensitive.

Actually It's always been reported that Iyanya lost both his parents, if you check Wikipedia that's what it says, so whatever source she used probably gave this info...and the show is edited so maybe the condolences was edited out 🤷‍♀️

Iyanya, wearing sunglasses during indoor interviews is quite distracting, and this phoneh too, but it's ok. Overall, very informative. Taking a closer look at the details given, it seems Iyanya needs better legal rep. Or needs to have clearer written agreements because it sounds like history repeated itself at Temple. Saying, I can get any of my gfs back if I call them now, rubbed me the wrong way. Some of those people actually have family now and it's quite rude to put that kind of vibe out there. Still, I appreciate the honest responses and hope this new sound/ep is successful. You have talent and should be enjoying OG status at this point tbh. Bolanle, kudos to you. It's obvious you did your research and you are quick on your feet, with those follow up questions. I look forward to more episodes!

It works for Davido abeg leave him be by comparison to a lot of these guys Brymo Davido Patoranking Kiss Daniel etc. Iyanya's voice isn't even husky at all. And not all of these guys are smoking some people have husky voices from vocal damage/overuse or just how they speak I think.

this is exactly my point, it is maddening. The Nigerian accent has always been good enough and the 2 examples u cited are excellent examples - it baffles me why these people feel as though they have to speak as though they just came out of the Bronx or Oxford or something, and u can immediately tell when they r faking it because they always stumble over certain words - really it is just irritating
