I think a very important thing that most players do not know is that simply placing your reticle on the enemy when you have the designated target skill is not enough for the effect to activate. You need to already be looking at the enemy with your gun within about 5-10 degrees to the left or right when you spot them, or else the skill will have no effect - even if you put your reticle on the enemy after you spot them. This is not the same as the radio set, which always works. In this case, I think the directive for designated target is much weaker than you think, as it only activates on enemies where you know very accurately what direction they will be spotted from - this can be helpful when you are outspotting a specific bush for example, but will not provide a benefit to generic scouting of targets all around you. DarkNinja has a video where he shows this directional effect in the training room, and it made me rethink how high on my priorities the designated target skill is.

Radio build is underrated. Since a lot of players wait like 12s to re use same spot this build will enable extra hits on the target and tracking of the target for example if they do a feint right?

This build i been using for some time but i use optics instead of rammer. Because player base are slow to react so if i can keep them spotted for 17sec longer win win.😃 second build for close combat can use radio, vents, rammer or swap out vents for hp or speed or vstab up to you.

my record is 6.9K dmg and 6.6 spot dmg in one battle. But it was full X battle. No any lower tier. And it was win 2 vs 8 :)). I love RHM for me it is even better than Leo. i can spot and shoot without been spotted. You can have Tour de maps whenever u want. HE's are sometimes really brutal. I had 1 shot with 495 dmg. With perk. Its brutal. If u wonder if this perk with higher chance of dmg work yeah its work. I had with Leo 612 dmg with HE.

I Always used this equipment on arty + signal boosting, why? You can help your team in case you end alone with any tank hunting you, cuz it not only keeps the enemy spotted for longer, but your team cam also see the enemy longer distances, even if it's only in the minimap it still helps to give your team extra info. I always move with my team while playing arty, but sometimes you just can't do that, and in this situations you will at least provide your team the enemy position for a bit longer.

You don't have to look at enemy to make Designated target work. You need to be pointing at them at the time you spot them.

Would this work with HWK 30? But since the rammer makes its reload closer to 5 seconds, its even too fast for this strategy, so I am thinking about trying replacing rammer with commander vision system, and maybe the exhaust with optics since I am playing this tank always from the distance anyway
