Before watching the video, my 2 cents: 1) As average player, I never managed to make E5, S.Cock, IS-4, 277 really work in the long run. 2) T57 is my first Tier X tank to reach 3,4k dpg beyond 120 games whereas my recent average is in the range of 2,8k +-0,1k. I conclude; average players needs outtrading potential in order to do better. edit: T57 also carried me to gold in onslaught while doing my weeklies.

I used to play this game in console back in 2015 and I got back into it on PC back in 2023. I sporadically grind it so I don't have a single tier 10 yet but I have 3 tier 9's as well as a bunch of tier 8s and 7s. I'm close to getting the E-100, OBJ 140, and the type 71. I personally had a lot of fun with the Japanese heavy line, especially the type 57. I even got an ace tanker with both the type 57 and 68 which I dont have many of since I dont play that much! The Pz. KPFW seems really fun! I might have to use my stash of gold stars to research the vk 45.02A because I already sold my tiger p lol. Other than the occasional clueless teammates that don't know how to look at a map and the pay to win/overpowered premium tanks, this is one of my all-time favorite video games that I always end up coming back to! Thanks for a great video, I'm glad I found your channel! Now I have other tech trees to grind with my boys!😎

Bz have ggod WR only because good players play it and most of people ignor it. You should look not on WR but on WR difference of tank and player. Tomato have such stats.

@@bukakabarabaka bz has good winrate because bz is a good tank. Look at AMX 50B as a counter argument. 48% wr from about the same average wr players as bz while dealing more average damage. If good players pick a certain tank more, maybe the tank is good? Looking at IS-4, it's a solid tank but it's limited to what it can do. It's very forgiving. BZ in the hands of a good player offers a more mobile tank, you won't risk being shot as often and will trade your high alpha efficiently. You don't have to peek that much as with a low alpha gun to deal your damage overall, you can take hills faster than an IS-7, it has a solid armor profile if you can use it and has an okay-ish hitpoint pool (at least it's not vz.55 territory)

@@veoa416 This misses the point that WR difference gives a better idea about performance of tanks overall. If a tank like IS-4 is more forgiving for the average player, then it is overall the better tank and gives overall better WinRate when taking into account the WInRate expectation. And this value is the WinRate difference. What use is a in theory a very good but difficult tank, when just few players can have fun with it? Videos like these should target the mass of players, i.e. the average player.

@@bukakabarabaka also compare the battles played with that tank, 60tp- 527k battles, e5-228k, is4-113k, pzKvii-251k and bz75-87k. So big difference. I love bz 75 I've got about 600 battles with bz, but honestly isn't good tank, average in my opinion.

for real, bz is one of the worst tier X heavys in randoms, at least for me. Gun is derpy, no hp, no armor, mobility without booster is tragic. I would pick rather IS-7 or 277

Once in position almost any heavy will outlast it but that's not the point of BZ imo, if it were a hull down monster the tank would be impossible to balance. In its current form it's fun while not being toxic

If you have average or below average stats - then is7 is4 and obj 277 would be very good choices for “your first t10 heavy” with little to no cupola weakspots and troll armor schemes. Bz is more a decent to good player pick as it relies on map knowledge and analysis of team comps to inform which strategic spots to get to quickly and deny / timings to rush

I recommended the Maus for my friend that's new to WoT. It teaches armor and the tech line is rough unless you actually try to improve angling and positioning. I explained this to him and he was very open to trying it and is already on the tier 7! Personally I think the Maus is missing on this list because of the big HP pool, learning capabilities, and tough tech tree line. But that is just my opinion :)

He's getting into how to angle armor, pen values of different tiers/tanks and ammo types. If you want to recommend 60tp to your friend go ahead, but my buddy likes a challenge, and he's aceing every test. He knows it's weak and is playing around it. You do NOT learn that from your average tech tree line

@@bukakabarabakawhlie not being a meta tank, the Maus is far from being super bad. T9 is pretty bad, but T8 is good. The biggest problem of the Maus is speed, but can be fun, especially in platoon. I use my Maus in platoon exclusively.

Interesting video. Weird there's no SConq it's played a lot. I agree that E5 is nice, but I don't play heavies too much and problem is that it does not work at close range hulldown fights and I'm not sure what to do on lakeville, malinovka, serene coast, westfield etc. espesically with risk of being detracked by arty - cupola is easy to hit then. 60tp ... i always expected that gun can't hit anything and it has low pen, also armor is not that reliable, i liked tier 9 more, it feels like the same tank with little less armor and alpha, but also tier lower and it was my favorite tier 9 heavy before I got Concept1B ... but also bit slow and boring. I guess general problem with tier 10s and some tier 9s is that tanks have strengths and weaknesses and they need to be played a lot to get familiar with them and use them automatically without too much thinking.

Dude E5 is brawling God, you dont play that tank hull down :D Sure, makes it tricky to play on some maps, but not sure about some of your maps, like lakeville has a city, seren coast has a coastal area, on malinovka you can try to take windmill

is4 its one of the best tanks in the game the combination of armor and the fairly decent inaccurate gun makes it one of my best performing tanks same with pz7 and bz both are enjoyable although pz7 and bz can be a bit frustraiting time to time

The BZ gun can be so frustrating. Also theres times where you use the boosters to take some key spot, but your team doesnt capitalize on it, and you find yourself outnumbered and either having to retreat, or end up dying. Rocket boost and be the first one on hill to give your team an advantage? Nah, your teammates are sitting back at base still trying to shoot that EBR doing donuts.

leopard 1 is my favorite got my record 9914 damage in it but its very hard to play. If you want to learn how to play without armor, playing bushes and trying to be sneaky go for that. 430U is the best for newer players tho. As far as bond tanks id go for 121b, or just buy bond equipment. M60 is not worth it unless youre a unicum.

The BZ is just a worse 705a. Also not only does the BZ have 3 giant cupolas but if the opponent is a tiny bit taller than you they can shoot the lower part of the turret cheek and it will ricochet into the roof of the hull for a guaranteed pen. One of the few tanks in the game that’s actually affected by shot traps like a tank in real life could be.
